You do not need menus here, and there aren't any. Taking a seat in this lovely small restaurant is like buckling up for a mystery magic carpet ride for the taste sensation - every dish is a joyful adventure. Attentive service and attention to detail is ever present with regard to food and drink. Guests can choose a 3- or 4-course seasonal menu, let the staff know about your allergies/dietary restrictions and then zoom ... you're off. Amuse bouche arrives to set you up for the adventure ahead. Excellent matching wines can be served with each course for extra. Superb restaurant, cosy atmosphere; it feels like dining with friends. Bring someone here if you want to impress, to celebrate an event, or just to enjoy the culinary calisthenics. Highly recommended - will come back here many times more!

I had an asparagus and scallops starter and then their rib eye steak. Not a cheap meal but it was absolutely wonderful. I will never forget the taste of that starter!!!!! I normally take my steak rare but this was cooked through somehow while retaining the flavour of the meat. So tender you didnât need a steak knife. It literally melted in your mouth. I was there by myself at the bar but my waitress really looked after me. What a great restaurant. Thanks!

We came here as the restaurant beside the hotel was full.It's a small but quite busy bar with tables inside and out, for when it's sunny. The staff were very friendly and I had the Aberdeen Angus burger with chips and salad, whilst my colleague had the Caesar salad. Both meals were excellent and service good as well.A family was also eating with two smallish children and no problems there, welcomed and food to suit. The menu was not in English and they didn't speak it either so be prepared for that. Make an effort, try french or dare I say it, Google translate!Thank you for a very pleasant meal service and evening.

We visited this delightful small restaurant in Utrecht for dinner. It was buzzing with activity but relaxing. Most of the clientele was Dutch. We were warmly welcomed in faultless English. We chose the three course surprise menu and were served a mackerel starter, venison main course and chocolate dessert with a well balanced flight of wines. Service was friendly and knowledgeable.Thank you for your positive review. It is always great to hear that also our international guest have appreciated our service and food. We hope to be able to welcome you back another time.

Great location in the woods but easily accessible from the center too. Delicious food (salad with goatcheese and cranberries, pork with mushroom sauce and salmon were amazing, dessert good as well) and not too expensive considering the quality. It's worth a visit.

Ate here alone as on business. Relaxed atmosphere, staff lovely, entertaining open kitchen, beautifully prepared, cooked and presented food. Interesting combination of tastes. Don't usually write reviews but this one is worth it!

It's cosy and probably the position in the middle of the park makes it a trendy place to go and justify a premium price to eat.Kitchen is very elaborated French/dutch cuisine, wine list is not great and quite expensive value for money.overall not my place

Starter reached the level of barely acceptable. Wines?? Three Euro supermarket wine on the list for 26 Euro. And then the main course, quail which was still raw on the bone. Finally, without any advanced notification, a 2 Euro supplement for three small pieces of cheap supermarket quality cheese. I know, it is only two Euro, but it is all part of their "surprise menu". Staff showed no understanding for our justified complaints. Many, really many, restaurants in the city that are worth visiting. We will never come back to this one!!!!!!

We happened to stumble upon this restaurant but as soon as we saw the simple menu of Dutch inspired dishes we knew we had to go. The wait staff were lovely. And the food was delicious. And reasonably priced for a nice meal out.
