For more than ï¬fteen years, we have enjoyed Hostellerie du Parc, which has been reinvented as au Jardin des Saveurs. We were there on a quiet day and were given a very friendly welcome and excellent service by la patronne herself. The cooking was very good, though much different from the ancien régime; with some novel touches.âRis de veau aux morilles was more delicate, less dark and rich, than the encien regime's version, in a more contemporary portion size.âSubjectively, I would say that Pascalâs main courses are very professional and textbook, while his puddings are more from the heart: the opposite way round from his predecessor.âMy wife had a delicate ï¬lo parcel of ï¬gs and grapes, while I chose trufï¬n à la griotte sur sa dacquoise, delightful and indulgent.âWe understand that they are renovating the place themselves while keeping it openâa mammoth undertakingâand we wish them the success that they clearly deserve.

Mainly Italian but also some French food on the menu. English-speaking, very friendly waitresses. Excellent thin crust pizzas. The salad starters are delicious. As is the Entrecôte and chips and Calzone. Great place for a mid-week, cheap and cheerful meal. No frills. Doesn't need to be any. It is exactly as it promises to be. Great for lunch - lots of local French people there, which is always a good sign. Clean loos. Does take away too if you phone and order in advance. A happy little place to pop in if you don't feel like cooking.

We called on this place in the beautiful village of Cordes sur Ciel, We actually had lunch in the courtyard covered by foliage. The quality of service very good, as was the recommended local Champoo, a nice delicate drink with an apple overtone. Lunch was superb and I'd have no doubt in recommending this restaurant. Afterwards we strolled around the beautiful village.Downside ? Parking, not the hotel/ restaurant's fault - I dropped my passengers up there and parked down below.I would also consider staying at the hotel, although I didn't see any rooms, if it's anything like the restaurant it will be good too. Will I go back ? Yes because the restaurant's service ambiance and food are excellent and the village delightful, I would actually go out of my way to visit.

A l'écart du flot des touristes, avec sa petite terrasse ombragée sur une des plus jolies vues depuis le village, une cuisine simple et généreuse, un plat sans gluten, un plat vegétarien et des prix corrects pour l'un des villages préférés des Français. Accueil sympathique.Quite far from the crowd, a nice terrace with few tables, where you can eat simple yet good meals at an affordable price for one of the most beautiful places of France.

Came accross this place before going up to the top of village, very well priced, good portions and quality, nothing to fault other than service a little slow with only one person on front of house, but friendly waiter/boss? and being on holidays, no worries about rushing anywhere.

This little restaurant was the busiest place in Cordes at lunchtime (which I believe is the only time it opens). The service was very good, as was the food and it's a perfect place to sit and watch the world go by whilst you eat.

An overnight stay whilst touring this area of France. The restaurant setting could not be bettered with a canopy of wisteria entirely covering the small cloister-like dining terrace adjacent to the main indoor dining room. Initially the service was excellent but as the restaurant became busier (a table of 10 arrived part way through our meal making a total of about 40 people eating) the attention slackened. I ordered à la carte which included a recommended wine with each course. Whilst the first glass arrived with my starter, I had to remind the waiter/waitress to bring my next wine with my main and again with my desert. Just a slight lack of attention to detail. My wife wanted a starter from one set menu and a main from a different (but cheaper) menu which they could not provide, saying that the set menus were indeed set menus! I said that I would pay the price of the more expensive menu to no avail. Annoying but not the end of the world and Iâm sure that if had made a scene of it they would have accommodated her. Having said this the meal was first class and the ambiance superb. Breakfast the following day was an ample buffet in a delightful room.

As it was very very hot (39 °) we didn't dress up. Still you are emerged into the atmosphere. Very friendly service. Nice copious meal. Loved my apple pie. You eat and drink as people used to do. Nice experience in this lovely town. By the way : early july very few tourists in the evening.

still wondering how i was not aware of this restaurant so far; this is truly a pleasure with a simple but innovative food, served by a wonderful team of youngsters...the oldest is 23 I heard...the quality of the food and the service means you dont need to get that experienced to be successful but you need to be good, innovative and bring a top service. will be back
