The restaurant and service were fine, but when considering Brasserie Blanc is an outlet of Raymond Blanc the food was nothing exceptional. It didnt live up to the promise of 'authentic food from a French Brasserie' with the food lacking garlic flair. We are sorry to hear that the food wasn't up to standard on your recent visit, I would love to discuss your feedback futher to help us improve. This is the first time we've been to the new Woodies, visited the old one many a time. The food was still great apart from a missing ingredient in the goats cheese salad...the walnuts! However the new layout means the service station is at the bar not in the restaurant and staff could not see the restaurant. Ordering was quick and delivery ok! But we were looking for someone to order more bread and eventually the kitchen staff went and got someone and then one of the chefs came out to get someone to seat another party that had come in the back entrance. If the layout was better and staff more attentive from the start of the evening this might not have happened. I would have also told one of them there was no walnuts and we might have had dessert if they had come back to ask us instead of leaving us with the menu for 15minutes, hence getting closer to theatre time! The new place looks great but needs some adjustments. Thanks for your constructive feedback. Weâre sorry to hear of your disappointment. We will pass on your comments to our restaurant manager. Please do come back and try us again sometime? Weâd love another chance to prove ourselves. Kind regards.
