Top quality food with attentive service ,A hidden gem in this small French city .The food was slightly unusual and I wasn't sure if it would work but the flavours were good for us .

From the outside this looks like a very small place, but the main dining room is upstairs. It's a warm, comfortable, stylish place. The food is very very good and excellent value. Do try it if you are in Castres.

Lovely boutique restaurant with well thought-out imaginative menus. Great ambiance and attentive service . Thoroughly recommended ! Chef, in my view, is a star with bigger opportunities on the horizon in not too distant future - check out his creations now -- you will not be disappointed at a price well below established Michelin- recognised equivalents.

Amazing...
Friendly restaurant serving good food well cooked. We were visiting Castres for a rugby weekend and they had put a Castres flag on our table, which was a nice touch. The weekend menu offered two choices for each course. We both had Langoustines which were large and excellent all washed down with a very acceptable white wineRestaurant had a nice Hollywood theme with star wars salt & pepper, chairs Hollywood style with famous actors names on the back and place mats montage of famous films â try and work out how many you know!Having eaten in some of the fancier restaurants this is the one we will come back to when next in Castres. You will need to book in advance as has 20 odd covers and full when we were thereThanks so much for your comment et your visit. Sorry for the victory of Castres olympique...at the next match !

Restaurant is beautifully decorated- very classy. Menu offers lots of choices. Food looked & tasted fantastic (amazing smoked salmon starter platter & honey sauce with duck breast). Great house wine (dry, white). Staff were really helpful & polite.

I was walking near the place, and finishing my turistic day and wanted to try the creperie. I went in, and the owners were sitting outside. I didn't know the closing time but it was still 20 minutes for that.. so they literally told me to leave cause they would be close in 20 minutes... (i think in 10 minutes I would have finished and pay..). I kinda felt bad.

The staff is very welcoming and the service was great.2 great dishes out of 4.Then let's speak about food!4 course menu, quite classic dishes not very creative.A delicious amuse bouche, panacotta and goat cheese. This was waouh!!!!First the starter, crumble foie gras. I was highly seduced by the name. Very nice presentation but the foie gras was not that good. Quite a piety if you take into consideration that duck is an important specialty in this department. The crumble standalone was good but mixed on top of the foie gras slice, it was too sugary and overcoming the foie gras taste. And believe me I am a fan of the mix sweet and sour. Then the salmon with asparagus and fennel. It was just perfectly cooked! The salmon was of a very good quality. Delicous vegetables, crunchy. Very nice plate presentation. Then the meat, beef with vegetables. Same here perfectly cooked and well arranged. Butter in your mouth. The sauce was very classic, no surprises here. Again lovely presentation. The dessert, pistachio, liquorice, strawberry opera cake.Too much pistachio mixed in a butter cream. Quite an overdose of sugar. Dessert not well balanced with mix of fruits/flavor. Served with roten marshmallows, again too much taste of sugar onlyLovely tastefull homemade breads; perfumed with different flavor. The wine was very good too.I will go again!

Having dined here previously a number of years ago, we found that the restaurant had changed hands. Their new chef is great and produced a 3 course lunch of high quality. However, we arrived at 1pm (having booked in advance) and this clearly did not sit well with the waiting staff, who are used to French customers arriving at 12 noon. We were given a table right on the corner by the entrance to the kitchen, even though there were other tables for 3 available, and were rather rushed through our lunch. This extended to the waitress setting up the tables for dinner service quite noisily whilst we were still eating. So go there for the food, but arrive at 12 if it's lunchtime and only expect to eat the set lunch as that's what's on offer, no a la carte choices (just 2 other pricier set menus).

Restaurant situé à côté de l'hôpital de Castres. Décoration sobre et moderne. Personnel super gentil. Repas très très bon et pas cher.
