This restaurant, on the main plaza of Fontaine de Vaucluse, was formerly La Colonne. We enjoyed a lovely dinner there on a balcony overlooking the plaza. Great food and service. We highly recommend it.
This restaurant stood out above the others in the village, not just because it didnât seem as âtouristyâ, but as it has a nice balcony overlooking the square - Iâd suggest booking for a balcony table. The food was very good (set menu) and the owners were friendly, one chose the wine both nights and it was not overpriced. Just really nice.

We came for lunch. The place is relatively small (less than 20 people can eat at the same time). The 2 owners, a charming young couple, are the only ones to work, he cooks in the kitchen, and she welcomes and serves the guests. Honestly, it is one of the best lunches we had in Luberon, it is tasty, perfect in cooking (fennel soup, chicken breast with vegetables), and attentive in service. Although French, they both lived in New Zealand, and they carry the values of the New Zealanders, service-minded, attentive to their customers, desire to do well. And they really DO WELL! We'll be back as often as we reasonably can!

It was a hot July afternoon and had an early dinner. The staff were super friendly and had great communication without speaking English. The local wines were great. We had a quick bite in mind and ended up staying there for hours. Highly recommended

Our Gordes hotel staff recommended this restaurant as the best bet for the off-season. We were the first to arrive on a Saturday night but every table was full by 8 o'clock, with a mixture of locals & visitors, couples and groups of friends. Reasonable prices, good food, artistic ambiance, excellent service. We ordered the prix fixe. The soup was excellent, scallops, mussels and fish very good, dessert okay (cake & ice cream) -- nothing special. A man and woman served every table, working in tandem, and we never lacked for a thing. I would dine at L'Estellan again.

La Figuiere, proposes in summer to come to lunch on its large terrace shaded and in the calm of the tumult of the crowd. Our chef proposes a provencal and contemporary cuisine, elaborated on the spot from fresh products. Our restaurant does not offer to i

We come every year to this lovely family run restaurant. This year we went twice. The food is always delicious, the setting down beside the emerald green river is stunning. The service is friendly and efficient. Lovely and cool on a hot day, but if you are going to dinner on a cooler evening take a jacket as the temperature can get quite cool, though they do have good patio warmers.A wonderful restaurant in an unusual setting in such a pretty village. Be prepared to walk for 5- 10 minutes from car park as parking can be a problem in high season.

To find the restaurant is pretty confusing on a main busy road... The welcoming= 0! Poor tables, ornamented by cheap colors and general 'no taste'. We tryed to change table and this was refused to us as it was too difficult to move 2 forks spoons and glasses (I precise that the other tabes were not resrved). No effort to be kind with clients- the caricature of the French roaring-! With no regret we decided to pass our way and get to another closed restaurant not to be hostages of that trap

We sat on the outdoor patio and were served with humor, graciousness, and friendliness. The menu had many fixed priced options starting at 28 euros. It was a very good deal. The dishes were as good as we've gotten anywhere, except maybe in our favorite restaurant, Les Santons in Grimaud. The host at Au Chant des Sorgues made the reservation for us and I think it resulted in our getting the best table on the patio!
Xavier MATHIEU created his bistro in one of the rooms of the hostellerie and outdoors around a fountain recreating the atmosphere of a place of our charming villages. We offer a contemporary and simple cuisine based on family traditions with the best prod
