The room has barrelled brick ceiling and a huge welcoming log fire. The staff were also welcoming and delivered lovely service. We had smoked salmon and delicious salad followed by sea bass that was beautifully prepared at the table. The Poulilly Fumé wine was perfect accompaniment. For pudding we had the mousse chocolat and symphony of crème brulèe: chocolate coffee and vanilla. The chocolate one was a bit sweet to my taste, the coffee one was quite nice but the vanilla was by far the most delicious to me.  Dear guest, How nice to read that you had a good time at the distillery and enjoyed your meal. We had dinner here on a Saturday evening as our nearby hotel had no restaurant.The decor and atmosphere are relaxing and interesting as you can see the brewing vats and paraphernalia of the brewery.The friendly staff took our orders quickly and enjoyed battling with our feeble French language capability, we ordered a variety of burgers and one of the house beers made in the micro brewery on site.The quality of food and beer was excellent, service was rapid and we felt the restaurant offered good value too. I would return here to dine.

Having used this establishement at Bethune for the 1st time i had to write about itHigh quality cuts of Meats cooked to perfection,very energetic staff,good level of service great value for money,clean as most of The La Boucherie that we have ever been to.Quick service tooHighly recommend to Us Brits on the way down just an hr away from calais.Made us very welcome with our dog Leo

Nous avons dîner en famille, accueil sympa et attentionné tout au long du repas. Carte des menus avec un choix limite (2 choix) ingrédients simples .Les plats manquent de Pep's le dos de cabillaud etait sans goût, et fade Les menus sont assez coûteux pour 28⬠on pourrait s attendre a autre chose Bref un restaurant qui me laisse sur ma faim Peu faire beaucoup mieux

Inside is a nice informal place in the style of a pub. I took vegetarian wrap and a dark beer with a quick service very efficient. Food was very tasty! It is served with fries perfectly crispy. Good for informal dinner, with friends, pub-food dinner. No need to reserve tables. Desserts have big size. Better than others in the vicinity.

We have been many times and tonight was the best experience for some time. Excellent warm foie gras and langoustine starters followed by very good pork, turbot and sweetbreads. They have revised the cheeseboard to include some interesting and delicious local cheeses.This was rounded off with a great crepe cooked at the table by our friendly waitress with a sense of humour.Finally there are some excellent reasonably priced wines from some of the "lesser"wine regions of France. Some of them are at least 10 years old.Dear Customer, We thank you very much for sharing your opinion on your meal at the Robert II. Saw the signage from the highway on the way back to our hotel and pulled in. Sizable place that was busy into the late evening. Fortunately, the kitchen was still open so I assume they serve well into the night. Only had a drink and dessert but it was very satisfying (great creme brule). Service took a little long, hence the 4/5, but overall, would like to return to sample some of the dishes on the menu.

We were 125 strong from Canada. On a Vimy Ridge memorial excursion. Out of all the restaurants that we'd eaten thus far, this was the first one that actually gave us yummy food, in decent portions. We wound up eating here two nights in a row. While the food wasn't that of a 5 star restaurant, what they accomplished over those 2 nights for our "small" group, was nothing short of astonishing. Hats off to the owners. Job well done. Recommended. We'll be returning if we're ever in the same area again. :)
