You know this is a place you will be able to relax and get great value when it is jam-packed with French people at lunch time. We had caught a drink here the day before while waiting for Tourism to reopen so knew they served cold Pelforth and Rose, so getting sustenance in the middle of the day was not a big gamble. We arrived just after kitchen closed and yet they were still able to rustle up menu du jeur for us, chicken and potato followed by local cheeses was wonderful, only thing that stopped this getting full marks was the hints of pink in the chicken.....otherwise spot on.

To begin with, golfers should make absolutely sure to visit the Granville links at Breville-sur-Mer. This is a fabulous course, always challenging and very interesting - and very well maintained. (BTW, it could be a good idea for Tripadvisor to open a section for golf courses!!)The Albatros restaurant, in the Club House, offers an interesting choice of appetizers and entrées that can rival with the menus of many - almost all - restaurants in the regions. My hat to the Chef, who's really doing an outstanding job!

Visited with friends while on holiday in Normandy. A lovely little restaurant, and the food and wine were excellent. The food was cooked to perfection, delicious and with imaginative flavour combinations. Can definitely recommend.

Normandy doesn't always spring to mind as somewhere to eat watching the sun set over the sea. Well time for a change of mindset. Not far from Granville on the west coast of Normadie you will find St Martin de Brehal. If you have children it's a fantastic stretch of sand and safe since the beach is patrolled and flat. It can however be a long walk to the sea when the tide is out. At the edge of the beach you will find la Vigie. Great for drinks or a meal with a sea view. In the summer it's packed so book a table. Off season is not a problem. With the moules beds visible when the tide is out it ' majors' on moules but also specialises in fish. The jambon de pays as a starter isn't bad either. Its prices are reasonable as it knows its market. Don't expect a gourmet meal but enjoy the view and the ambience. We have been visiting for the past twenty years and whilst the ownership has changed the food, service and view have all remained constant

No nonsense family restaurant - very clean, good selection of dishes, quick service and excellent value for money. Polite friendly English speaking staff and I would highly recommend eating out on the terrace catching the last of the sunshine from the setting sun and gentle sea breezes. Great atmosphere and very popular with French families

Not too many places seem to be open at night in Brehal once the high season ends but this place was, very nice inside and a warm French welcome, really enjoyed the Gallettes and Crepes, all we tried were lovely and the sweet crepes very good (especially my apple crumble one). Good selection of drinks and friendly efficient service. Really enjoyed it.

During a home exchange we ate there twice and I had the exact same meal each time, it was perfection. An escargot dish of snails and mushrooms in a cream sherry sauce with a perfect duck breast. The staff is attentive and the local wines to die for.Hello,Thank you for your nice review of our restaurant. My wife had told me of your enjoyment at our table, and I am delighted. I extend congratulations immediately to all staff. We hope to see you one day in Normandy.Good holidaysBest regardsThe chef

Very relaxing. Good and inventive food, good service and a pleasant atmosphere. There were ten people of varying ages in our party and the restaurant catered well for us all.

I really can't fault Couleurs Saveurs: the appearance of the restaurant was bright, airy and contemporary; the food was interesting, beautifully presented and confident; and the service was extremely competent, knowledgeable and well co-ordinated. At 37 euros for a 4 course meal, it was also extremely good value for money. This is a popular restaurant that fills up fast on a Saturday evening but never once did we see the service suffer!
