Oud Corteshem offers fine food in a nice setting. The waiting staff was very friendly. Prices are okay.I had the mixed grill, which was very nice. My wife had the cod, and she liked it as well. Do not expect the most sopisticated cuisine, but expect plain, decent food with great taste.

uitgenodigd voor een verjaardagsfeestje en het was dik in orde . We hadden de zaak voor ons groepje alleen en het eten , de ontvangst , de bediening en het goed humeur van de ober was tip top . Ik ga er zeker nog eens terug .

Business dinner for 10. Service was warm, professional, exceptional considering the many business dinners we have had in all of Europe. We were served the same hors'devours(sp), entree and main course and each of us had the same review - "excellent". Definitely one of the best in my experience.

This place, very close to the town center has earned a Michelin star.The interior is formal but the tables are arranged to offer some privacy. A menu in a gastronomic restaurant deserves some intimacy to share the delights with one's partner.We had a superb dinner with assorted wines and could not be happier. Definitely more than worth a relaxed visit. Reservation is essential.

We had the 5 course dinner and we were pleasantly surprised with very original dishes that were extremely tastefull. The service is very warmly and the explanation of the dishes is very informing. We had the Crémant as aperitif and one glass of perfect red wine with the main course. Also the coffee with treats after our meal was a delight. Highly recommended.

Deze brasserie serveert lekkere, typische gerechten, bereid zoals het hoort en zeker voldoende. Aangename ontvangst. Uitstekende gerechten: varkenswangetjes, maar ook de ribbetjes.

Geweldige locatie op een kookworkshop bij te wonen. Vooral in groep is dit een fijne activiteit. De gastvrouw werkt het hele menu goed uit en geeft veel begeleiding tijdens de bereidingen. Veel van het voorbereidende werk is al gedaan bij aanvang dus de workshops zijn ook geschikt voor mensen zonder kookervaring.Heel ongedwongen sfeer en vooral in de zomer een prachtig uitzicht op de achterliggende vallei.

The website said that there was coffee making facilities in the room but there wasn't as they were outside & we had to log every coffee that we had and was expected to pay for. I had stated when we booked that I needed a gluten free breakfast but was only given bread & croissants which would have made me ill so had to go to shop to buy my own gluten free bread for breakfast! Only Flemish was spoken when we booked in (no English, French or German) which was awkward. We tried to get a drink outside on the patio one afternoon and was told that they were shut even though other people were drinking and there was a board by the gate saying "Open". We did not feel very welcome at all Another time we sat outside and were joined by a waiter speaking Flemish to us whilst smoking & blowing smoke at us which we found very unpleasant. We feel that this is only a place for Belgians to stay and that English were unwanted. We would not go there again.

De bron daar kan je van alles eten ze hebben een zeer gevarieerde kaart, Allard wat van brasserie en een restaurant te samen , het is en blijft een doodgewoon dorps restaurantje waar mensen van ver komen om lekker te dineren of te lunchen heel gekend door de truckers en de boeren ontbijten alsof je thuis bent gewoon top ! Een aanrader voor iedereen en zeker voor de vele fietstoeristen de de buurt van loon of sint truiden bezoeken en de prijs is dik oke

The restaurant is really, really, really, big and divided into multiple rooms. It may depend a little bit in which room you end up but for me it felt like I was eating at a large cafeteria place, not a nice restaurant, and certainly not what I was expecting for a steak house. Also if you have a restaurant of this size you need to have a much larger wait staff. The wait times for no particular reason are stupid. The steaks were good, at least for those of us at the table who didn't ordered the Belgium Steak. That Belgium steak was just not restaurant quality. Overall I think there are much better places in Borgloon. Especially if you are going to spend $50--$85 per person
