Visited here today and was met by friendly staff who took care of us very well. The menu was set but amazing. The starter was carpaccio with truffle oil and pine nuts with various leaves and was delicious. The main was a thick cod in wine sauce with purée potato and asparagus again delicious. The desert was a real treat as they had a cheese room with over 45 local cheeses. There was also a great selection of ports and desert wines which we declined. The chef chose cheeses to our liking and served them in order of strength along with a homemade marmalade and fruit bread. Fantastic setting outside enjoying the sun and company. A great place.

Had dinner here a few times in the past few months. Always very much pleasantly surprised by the menu and the hospitality from the owners,The idea to combine an art gallery with a restaurant is brilliant, every month or so there are special events (Swing in de kunstkeuken) highly recommendable. Will go back here many more times !Good to hear that you are satisfied about our restaurant and the combination with art.Hope to see you soon back in our "Art meets Food" concept.Kind regards,Danny and Luke

Have had the pleasure of enjoying a meal at Truffelaer several times in the past 2-3 years while on business in the Eindhoven area. It seems that Fine and Truffelaer âduke it outâ for the #1 restaurant rating in Veldhoeven. Since the spring, the restaurant has been remodeled/refreshed and the kitchen appears to be somewhat enlarged. The colours are the new modern grey tones, which I find quite relaxing though several in our party of 11 did not like the revised scheme. The main dining area is much more open and pleasant than before (10 of 11 had been before and we all agreed). Several people took the 3 or 4 course surprise menu while the balance of the crew ordered from the menu> this is normally a problem in local restaurants but our server and the kitchen rose to the occasion. Across the board, we were all pleased with our meals. Wine selection by the glass is super and good value for money. The wine list is above average and well priced though the selection could be better in my view.Overall, a very good experience and value for money. Recommend.

We visited this bustling little restaurant on the last day of our holiday with family friends. There were 11 of us and the staff were extremely helpful in accommodating our large group when we hadnât made a reservation. The food, drink and atmosphere are fabulous and I couldnât recommend the Diana restaurant enough. Given the owners were going on vacation the next day the menu was still good and the food quality was both tremendous and plentiful. We hope to holiday in the area soon and without question we will be returning. Thank you so much to the staff for a fantastic finale to our vacation!

As a celebration my spouse booked this lovely restaurant with just few couverts -which makes it intimate-. Young staff in a traditional old farm with heavy beams gives a very contemporary excitement. Presentation of the courses, combined with exquisite quality and nice wine tasting makes Prikkelz a reco. No hassle in deciding what to eat and drink- go for the recommended menu.

The concept with a selection of 50+ options is good. Fast order taking and food served fast and fresh. Also for vegetarians and people with gluten allergy it is very suitable. For the little once there is a play area.

Entering the Treeswijkhoeve we were warmly welcomed by mr. Middelweerd (Chief/owner).When our guest had arrived and our aperitifs were served mr. Middelweerd came to our table and, while cutting and serving a little piece of sausage bread with truffles (delicious), he informed what we would like to have for dinner and if there were any dishes or ingredients we wouldn't like or couldn't eat. Since our guest preferred to choose for à la carte instead of having a kind of surprise menu with several small dishes, we all decided to choose for à la carte.Just a few minutes after mr. Middelweerd had left, several beautiful and very special amuses were served (some on bamboo sticks). For me, being allergic to scallops and shrimps, the amuses with this ingredients were adapted. Unexpectedly fast. The gentlemen choose to have 3 variations of goose liver, I choose the lobster. Our next choice was a sole meunière and twice a pheasant (delicious old fashioned dish, you hardly can order in restaurants). After the maître/sommelier mr v.d. Kerkhof had taken our order, mr Middelweerd came again to our table. He told us that the goose liver was served in 3 courses. And since my lobster was just one course he suggested that he made 3 different courses of my lobster, so have 3 courses too and wouldnât be just watching when the gentlemen had their 3 courses. Great, thatâs what real empathizing in your guests is. The goose liver dishes as well as the variations on the lobster were outstanding. The sole was what a sole meuniere has to be and the pheasants were superb. And then mr. Middelweerd came again. This time with a little steelpan; he said; âwell if you are having an old fashioned pheasant I thought some old fashioned applesauce should go with itâ. Absolutely true!!After the main courses he came again asking if we would like to have any dessert. Since our guest and I decided not to, but my husband was doubting whether he would or not, mr. Middelweerd offered to make him another old fashioned dish; a Dame blanche. My husband gladly accepted the offered Dame blanche and still has sweet dreams about it.Meanwhile mr. v.d. Kerkhof did a great job: talking about what wine too choose to accompany the dishes, serving professionally, being very attentive and relaxed, being witty in a proper way. Conclusion: the Treeswijkhoeve is worth the journey, not only for the terrific food, ambiance and professionalism, but not in the least, for their perfect feeling for hospitality and empathizing in what guests would like: having a perfect evening with delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere.

This beautiful old building has been reroofed, refurbished and relaunched as a classy eating place. The menu is well chosen but not extensive. The fresh ingredients and the quality of the chef stand as guarantee for a tasty well presented meal. The service is attentive, The main restaurant space can be a bit noisy if a large group arrives due to the lack of sound absorbing materials such as curtains/carpets.

EXCELLENT even with the language barrier ?Although everyone apart from myself had lunch I was happy to have a slice of the cake I spotted on display in the glass cabinet. Very generous portion definitely wouldnât have finished it if Iâd had something before.Another two slices of cake ordered to share between the others after seeing what I had. This isnât just a coffee & cake shop, plenty of choice on the menu.Well worth a visit

The annual Ladies Dinner of my gentleman's discussion group was held in Restaurant Vandeijck. The old farm building has been tastefully transformed into a classy eating space. The multi-course culinary dinner with appropriate wines was of high quality. The portion sizes were rather small but for a group with an average age above seventy this was probably the right strategy. (Personally I left with a feeling that I could eat the dinner again!) The service was excellent.
