Ancien fumoir du village rénové avec goût, possibilités de banquets pour anniversaires, communions, baptêmes, etc... (Limité à environ 30 personnes), repas spéciaux sur demande, maintenant 3 chambres à disposition (9 couchages)
Wonderful friendly welcome to an authentic rural village venue in the pre Alps. Lovely meal with friends served by a genuine friendly couple in their own home. Well worth a visit anytime but phone first to check the menu and opening hours.

We visited here today whilst skiing the Roc d'Enfer circuit. Divine omelettes with chips (frites) just like my mother used to make. And the prices are so much more reasonable than most places on the mountain. Lovely atmosphere and very welcoming

My husband and I have travelled extensively and as a food writer I have had to suffer some dreadful places so it was a delight to find Le Moulin de Lere auberge and restaurant well and truly off the beaten track. Tucked into the delightful Vailly valley surrounded by snow capped mountains (in April/May) this delightful converted watermill had us spellbound from the moment we parked the car. With just five bedrooms, ours with a balcony with table and chairs, we were hooked. Hosts Frederic and Irene were delightful. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was interesting, much foraged greenery, flower-decorated food and delicious food had us spellbound.Frederic's home-made muesli was out of this world! With just five bedrooms it was intimate and after two weeks of life in the the region, which is about an hour's drive from Geneva on the French side, we were reluctant to go home. We will definitely be back and next time I will get the muesli recipe!! Thank you Frederic and Irene for one of the best experiences we have had.

This gem is at the bottom of the local ski hill where friendly staff offers good Savoyard food in a warm environment. Great to recharge your calorie count after a day in the mountain air or to rest while having a drink and snack.Often ski hills have two types of places: good food at too-high cost or plain-jane fare. The Auberge Bois Noir has great eats at a good price. Family friendly too.

"Aux Touristes" is such a brilliant place you will never forget. I am a bit biased also because of the local relatives and I am a pure romantic. This place has all this french melancholy which makes you sit under the trees on the front terrace and let you eat and drink too much and enjoy life on the slow lane. Best is not to question the menu too much. Remember, you are in a small village and whatever the local fancy is hundred times better than anywhere else. If you are a vegan or vegetarian you should employ some language skills. I believe you are fine as long as the chef understands you. (THIS SAID WITH A BIG SMILE)thank you very much, we are very happy to have had a good time in our restaurant;Best regards,Eric and Joel

A total pleasure for the palate with exquisite French gourmet food together with elegant and professional service. Undoubtedly the best restaurant in the region by far.

The Tiennolet offers good food - nothing to complain. The deer steak was particularly good. The food is really nice, but tries to come across as "gastronomique" - and for that, it's just missing the creative touch.Overall, the service took much too long, though. We took the "basic" menu - starter, main, desert, and it took a total of 2 hours, which was much too long with a toddler. Also, many other customers were waiting even longer... and we could see their frustrationHonestly, despite the nice food, I would not go back - at least not with kids
