The food at the bistro side of the restaurant was delicious. The assorted seafood/shellfish was an adventure in eating, down to the needle pick required for periwinkles. The lotte wrapped in bacon over sautéed cabbage with potatoes three ways was really good. Service was somewhat disjointed, but they seemed to be missing some staff at opening at 7:15 pm. We had to ask for the olives that came to another table as a nibble. Surprised that the staff was not more facile in English, but we managed with our french. Great sunset view, but must be there early, and with daylight savings time change soon, no view at all in the dark. In addition to the menu, there is a daily special; Thursday was the Lotte. Dear Mule54,We thank you very much for your comment. We are pleased to read that you enjoyed your dinner at Le Bistrot. We have well noted your comments regarding the service and I will pass the information to the restaurant team in order to improuve themselve.Looking forward to welcoming you in a near future,Kind regards,Flora & the team

Cuisine soignée et maison, poissons frais des criées environnantes, Vins sans pesticides de vignerons indépendants, service singulier , La P'tite Franquette vous accueille toute l'année avec joie ! Les réservations sont recommandées.
Staying in La Pouliguen I walked past this restaurant every morning enroute to the boulangerie to buy the morning croissants and kept stopping to look at the blackboard outside for the menu of the day !! Checked Tripadvisor and Voila !!It is a fabulous bistro run by the ever present hardworking proprietor who looked after us with style. We managed to translate the menu between his excellent english and my stumbling french. A great menu with fresh vegetables and locally sourced produce plus organic wines of which he is rightly proud. We went for the 23 euro three course menu and could hardly believe the wonderful meal we ate at this price and don't get me started on the chocolate fondant dessert. Highly recommended.

Ouvert
We read about it on here, especially that they were good with kids and we had 6 of them. We prebooked a table for 10 and were seated upstairs, it was full the night we ate. The food was good and served quickly but the children's entertainment of a colouring competition we had read about on here didn't come to fruition, only by asking to be included in whatbthe french kids were doing and then handing the results in. They seemed rushed off their feet and our waiter was up and down the stairs all night. We had gallettes followed by dessert crepes, only I found a black hair in mine, I quietly took it to the kitchen so as not to freak out the kids and they cooked me another and promised to take it off the bill, which they didn't because they were too busy to remember. So we didn't leave a tip, the overpayment for my dessert was the tip. It was good but not fantastic!

Seats approx 50 with additional outside tables, faces the sea.
This is a seaside restaurant with a scenic view of the water (and sunset). It is very casual. We went there 3 times in 3 weeks because of two things: the mussels and the french fried potatoes. Les Moules were so good, we had them the 3 different ways they served them: marinieres, a la creme, and roquefort. The portion is quite large and it is served with a bowl of french fries that are long, medium-thin, and crispy. You can eat outside or inside. Although it is not exactly handicap accessible, it is on one floor and the people are so nice and will accommodate you.

Traveling in France for a month plus, we found this unassuming restaurant in this charming port city. The dining room itself is small but has wonderfully comfortable chairs. The food was very good: St. Jacques scallops and cod. And I don't even particularly like cod. Excellent dessert. Good wines by the glass. Creative mis en Bouche. Superb friendly service. Top ratings all around.

We had the set lunch at the Saint Alys. (It's a small restaurant and we couldn't get a dinner reservation). We thought it excellent value. A well-executed and delicious 3 course lunch for 24Euro - assiete de decouvertes (guacamole with crevettes, ham and melon, smoked salmon with quinoa), roast hake on crushed potatoes, cherry and strawberry mousse with fresh fruits. It sounds straightforward - the excellence was in the cooking and presentation. Warmly recommended.

We had dinner there. The service was friendly and the place was very clean and well looked after. The crepes are good but having been to other creperies in le Croisic, they are not as good and large in size that at " Le Puy du Roy".

Great place for crepes, family-owned, great service. They had the classic crepes as well as very original very interesting and creative crepes. one of the best crepes places, and not too touristy, it was recommended to us by locals.

Restaurant creperie poisson fruits de mer et coquillage face a la plage de la gonelle a batz sur mer
We had dinner here on a sunny evening in April. The menu is small (which I love) and offers interesting choices, everything was fresh, local and seasonal and all was delicious. We had mussles, seafood and fish. Great views over the beach, you can watch the surfers while you eat. Relaxed atmosphere and good, friendly service. Local beer, which is always a plus.I would certainly eat here again.
