Expensive is why they get the three stars. In addition, staff was so unfriendly! Crepes were tasty, one of the best I've tried so far. Coffee is 1â¬90 three sips!! I think they higher their prices because of the location. If I am to come back here i would go to la main à la pat, 200 meters away and tastier cheaper and nicer staff.

Le Palais has three "crêperies" and this one is located between the "rue de l'église" and the "quai Jacques Leblanc" in a quaint fisherman's'house close to the harbour. It has two entrances (one per street). From these streets, the restaurant does not seem attractive but the nice dining room is at the second level and offers beautiful views on the citadel and the harbour (if you are lucky enough to get a table near the windows). Food offering is made of the usual "crêpes bretonnes" (kind of pancakes). Ours were freshly baked, very good, and promptly delivered, by a very kind waitress (everyone is kind on Belle-Ile). Wine by the glass was surprisingly good. Overall at 12 ⬠per person, we had a nice time there. Restaurant is well located for a break while visiting Le Palais and is obviously not dedicated to attracting tourists such as the ones right on the ferry harbour.

We had an excellent lunch at Le Kervi, far better than those at the expensive restaurants in this area, They were very welcoming and pleasant, and the food was really good. The buffet was excellent, fresh and with a great variety and my grandson enjoyed his croque monsieur with chips. We certainly recommend it.

We spent a day on Belle-Ile in the week after Easter. We rented electric bikes, and after visiting the Citadel, had a wonderful lunch at La Parenthese. As a starter, they were serving shellfish I've never seen in France (but did see in Galicia a couple of years ago) - Pouce Pieds (gooseneck barnacles) as well as the more usual whelks and sea snails. I chose the oysters, but my partner enjoyed the barnacles etc.For main courses we had steak and monkfish, which were both excellent.A lovely lunch, which set us up for an afternoon cycling in the sun.

I ate at this Creperie before and this year again. The quality remains at a high level. It isn't the cheapest Creperie on the island but in my opinion the best. You pay for what you get.I ate at all well-known Creperies on the island like Sauzon or Bangor. They are all good but Annexe for me has the most creative and tasty galettes.Book before!

Fantastic view of the ocean. Food and service were both friendly and good. The menus is. to terribly different than the gastronomique other restaurant of the hotel, but here the value is much better. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Café Clara, our restaurant combining a seafood buffet and a chic bistro with marine accents offers you one of the most beautiful panoramas of Belle-Ile, a weightless view over the ocean and the wild coast . The seafood buffet, which has made Café Clara fa
We ate lunch and dinner here. The seafood buffet is great, and desserts fantastic, but the menu is quite limited for those who don't want seafood. Worth a trip for the view on a nice day, make sure you reserve a nice table. It is quite pricey compared with nearby options, but you are paying as it is somewhere "special".

There are creperies everywhere in France, and in Belle Ile wouldnt be different, until you visit Chez Renee!!! This is a small cozy creperie, in the back of someones' house, that offers the best ever crepe. Traditional french crepes, with the best ingredients from the island and prepared in a home-made manner. Worth the visit...and dont forget to ask a glass of cidre as well.

Our crepes were absolutely delicious, the service was stellar and charming....we liked it so much we returned for a second meal the next day. Very close to Hotel le Grand Large if you find yourself on the southern side of the island. Great experience!
