We have been here a few times now and keep returning. The cakes and coffee are delicious as is their soups and salads. Generous portions at very reasonable prices. The couple who run the café are very friendly and helpful and are willing to please their customers. I ordered a cup of tea and I was offered a choice of tea from a wide selection of teas; I thought that was a really nice touch. The café itself is bright and airy and very welcoming and it is now our favourite café.

Restaurant was nice and cosy, more pub-like than the trendy brasserie name implies though. Menu also a bit pub-like and waiting staff varied greatly in their attentiveness (as I suppose you get everywhere) but it's just a bug bear of mine when someone comes in after you/finishes after you and gets served before you.The portions were nice and big though and although we wouldn't rush back, if we had to eat out in Glenrothes we would try it again.

My wife and I enjoyed a relaxed, high quality and immensely enjoyable couple of hours over a bottle of wine, 3 courses and the attention of professional, attentive and friendly staff. Terrific quality food and service and great value for money. We have been a few times before and this was the best yet - we will keep coming back. Thank you

The new owners are continueing the wining formula of bistro atmosphere and French menusThere is a pre theatre menu sunday -Friday at 18 pounds 5 -6.30and 500 mls of beer by the bottle as well as wine by the glass for driversSpecials on the black board are market fish,local trout and pigs cheeks.The regular menu has tartaflate.salad paysanne,moules,galettes etc.Wines are reasonable service friendly and efficient toilets downstairs and limited parking (paid daytime) outside Our bill was 50 quid for two courses including drinks
