Vaucluse has become one of New York's great restaurants. We keep returning and it keeps getting better and better. When they first opened it was clear that they had spent a fortune on the decor. Recently, they re-decorated and it's even more gorgeous.....and no banquettes.....and the surfaces are softer so the noise level is lower..... and the menu is terrific. Staff is wonderful. Bravo to Rocky for his relaxed but sharp eyed way of running things.

I went here for lunch with a friend and really love this location. Its easy to get to and is in the middle of all the best places to shop on Madison ave. I ordered the great healthy salad and thought it was good. Iced latte was really good. The service was amazing, everyone who works there is super nice and attentive. Le Bernardin, Zagat's top pick for 2013, and awarded the Michelin Guide's coveted 3-stars as well as The New York Times' highest rating of 4-stars, has maintained its status of excellence for over 20 years and its international acclaim as one of the world
We had lunch at Bernardin during our short vacation in New York City. And for a second time, we tasted perfection. My wife went with the crab while I chose the striped bass tartar with black truffles. They were both amazing and flawless. It is the attention to details that makes a difference. All of their broths and sauces are cooked a long time so that you get a taste of heaven with each bite, concentrated and flavourful. We then took the halibut and the striped bass for the main course. I had the bass and did not share much. Fish cooked to perfection with a meaty sauce made with wine and bone marrow. Even the meat lover would find great pleasure in a plate like this. We paired it with a Kistler Chardonnay that went extremely well with it.And dessert! The Apple is one of the best dessert you can have anywhere in the world. I had the Hazelnut which I found was close behind. All accompanied by great service. The best fish restaurant in North America in my opinion. Truly amazing.

Our recent experience at Pascalou was accommodating and a wonderful experience! Our party got out of our meeting early and we called the restaurant and moved up our reservation over an hour with ease. Our waiter was welcoming and made this cozy restaurant feel extremely personable. The duck confit salad was delicious as was the baked brie and salad. For a French restaurant on the Upper East Side, the value was great and the portions were more than reasonable. Definitely try the rosemary chicken for dinner and don't miss the chocolate souffle for dessert!

My wife and I had lunch at Cafe DâAlsace with our son and his wife. It was very nice! We were seated outside, which felt like a very French location, but the inside of the restaurant also felt quite authentic. The food was good. Around the table there were a club sandwich, two crab omelets, and a lamb burger. The entrees all came with fries, which were amazingly good. Our server was helpful and attentive. We would surely go back!

This was a 4th time I have been to this fabulous restaurant and it continues to be one of my most favorites. The food was outstanding as always. This time I went with several girlfriends and we all did the dinner tasting menu. Every single dish was elegant and delicious. Service here is also another element several notches higher than most restaurants of this caliber. They are ever attentive but not hovering. Can't wait to go back on my next trip to NYC.It is always our pleasure to serve you and an honor to be among your favorites! We are delighted you have enjoyed memorable dining experiences each time you dine with us. Thank you very much for your lovely compliments, as well as your gracious words for our team and we look forward to welcoming you again the next time you are in NYC.
