First, even though I am a Plat. Ambassador I do not stay at this InterContinetal after a couple of bad experiences here.. Having said this, I often frequent this restaurant when I am in Caracas. This restaurant, hands down, is the best in the city. The food is outstanding and the service is top-notch plus the wine list is incredible. If you are in Caracas and want a nice romantic restaurant or a great place for a business dinner this is the place!

This place is an icon in Caracas... It's been around for ages!!! Great service, great setting "English style" very elegant... Need a jacket and a tie is advisable!!! They used to have the best food with great ingredients... Now with all the shortage in stocks, they are doing magic... Lots of plates are not in the menu now...Still a restaurant where you will find "game" vennison, wild boar, frog legs etc... This place is very chic and always been taken care of by Tito, the maitre D and owner. Food was quite good and some glitches that I hope can be corrected in the near future... NOT their fault.Aahh, dont forget to order the grand marnier AND chocolate souffle at the beginning... You will not be disappointed!!Enjoy

In Venezuela´s chic Caracas, you can enjoy Granja Natalia, that´s actually 30 minutes out of the city on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea at 1.800 mtrs., inserting in National Park Avila:"Warairarepano" in a turistic destination called "Galipán". Che
This restaurant has an amazing atmosphere!. Beautiful view and lots of fresh air. The food is quite good, tasty and greatly presented. They have interesting fresh juices (tomate de arbol), and the price for value is good. Last time I went they even had a wonderfull live band which was playing Bossa Nova. We asked them to lower a bit the volume and they had no problems to do it :)The only downside is that is quite dificult to get there. They can pick you up in Caracas and bring you up with a SUV (4x4), or you could go on your own 4x4, but it is quite complicated to find. Another thing, there are lots of stairs involved, so carefull with disabled or older people.Overall it is a great restaurant and worth the trip.

Crepes, baguette sandwiches and salads are great options for lunch. They do not serve any kind of alcohol (so, no beers even). Live jazz concerts are amazing, and you can enjoy then on from Thursdays to Saturdays, late afternoons.

If you want real and classic French cuisine (not fusion), this is the place. The menu is the same you will encounter in any restaurant in the middle of France. Decor is not pretentious, just enough to make you comfortable. Service is friendly and food is delicious. You can't go wrong with this place.
