We visited Altea in the low season, our first to this area, this restaurant stood out for it's ambience and the menu. We actually came here twice having enjoyed our first meal so much, we were meeting family and wanted some place to relax and eat good food.All the food is cooked to perfection, there is a great choice with something for everyone including several vegetarian options. I had a beautiful steak the first night and a fish dish the second. Wine selection is good and it despite the surroundings the restaurant is not expensive.We booked using the Fork, which supposedly had a discount, the owner explained (in French) that the restaurant did not have the discount and had contacted the Fork about it, we were not bothered about this as we wanted the table not the discount. The staff could not have been more helpful and both nights were excellent.Thank you a lotVery happy to receive you here in our paradiseSee you soon,Jack and his staff

We returned to this restaurant after many years where we had enjoyed a wonderful evening together. The food was good, dessert wasnât great but the entire time we had the feeling of being rushed through our meal so they could get the table for the next paying client.

This restaurant is located at the boulevard of Altea.There is a nice card with a good selectioin of possible meals.The five of us enjoyed the food, company and view.It's worth while for a good taste.Thanks a lot, Kees!

What a great find this wonderful little restaurant is. The chef de patron marries dishes from his homeland of Romania with classic Mediterranean dishes. The soup of the day was fragrant and delicious and the entrecôte steaks served perfectly rare with scarracha sauce. Plenty of crisp vegetables and scallop potatoes. We will all definitely return.

We visited Sunday evening to this new and recently opened restaurant. The food was delicious- oysters to start, main courses of scallops and of tuna, deserts of tart tatain and iles flottant. All beautifully presented in a romantic setting. We met the head chef Matthew a French Californian who sources all the local and season ingredients. Weâll be going back for sure.

Firstly, middle and lastly, the people! Superb, warm, considerate service delivers fantastic food in an atmosphere that is both casual and fine. Lovely setting, inside or out with rotation of gallery art complimenting the architecture. Killer deserts, too!
