There is little to complain about when the servers try to keep up in this very busy chicken barbecue restaurant. Unlimited rice and soup make dining here always worth it.
nice service, very affordable, also caters family events. juicy chicken. but currently under renovation.
This branch has 5 POS registers but only 2 of them are open, combined with snail like cahiers whose catchphrase is "maam pa-void!" the result? long queue and a minor stroke.
I been staying now in Parañaque City but once in a while I go back to the city where I grew up. During one of my visits, I went around to see what new in my hometown. I got hungry. There are just few good food outlets in Valenzuela. I don't want really to have fastfood again. My choices were David's Tea house which is a Chinese restaurant chain, The Original Savory Restaurant, it originated from Manila's Chinatown and its speciality is Chinese style fried chicken; and Max's Restaurant, one of my all time favorite specially its fried chicken which is its flagship product.I decided to have an early dinner there. The Max's Restaurant branch there ceased operating a few years ago. I am glad it reopened and give give me culinary options when I visit the city. When I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by a reception attendant. He asked me if I am alone or if I am with someone. I said, I am just alone. He led be to a table near the glass frontage of the restaurant. I can see vehicles motoring. A waiter was assigned to me to get my orders and to attend to my needs. He gave me the menu. I browsed the menu. It was almost the same as before except for some additional items.I ordered Chicken Platter combo meal which includes a quarter of Max's Restaurant famous fried chicken, pancit canton or Chinese style stir-fried noodles with a variety of ingredients, a small dessert bar and iced tea. I asked the iced tea to be upgraded to bottomless or unlimited. Looking at the restaurant, it was still the same as years before and consistent with their other branches. Air-conditioning was fine as with the tables and chairs. Decors were just simple but clean as with the whole restaurant. The washroom was as clean as the whole restaurant. I finished my meal with like 3 glasses of iced tea. The unlimited iced tea was really a good bonus since I like to drink a lot of sweet drinks while eating. Prices were reasonable. The only thing that not really bad but can brought to diners attention was the service charge that they collect. Nonetheless,I already know that and I'm not surprised. By the way, Max's Restaurant also serves other Filipino favorites like crispy pata, chopsuey, kare kare and others. Max's Restaurant will always be one of favorite restaurant chains in the country. I always bring my friends from overseas there for them to sample its food. I hope to visit one of their branches soon.
Good food but the waiting time is kinda long during peak hours, affordable price, clean dining area , dont expect to much its a simple restaurant, limited parking space .
