When in Chicago there some things you have to do, getting a gyro is one of them. Also, Doggie diner is my go to place for them. They cut it from the spool and fried on the flattop to give it a little extra crispiness...goes great with a bag of their fries...

This is aptly called Cozzi Corner cuz it actually sits in a corner. Staff is very fast and efficient and even with just 2 people working on a rush lunch hour, they always get your orders right. Price is cheap, nothing over $5 except the gyro plate. When you don't have enough time for lunch this is one quickie bite that will get you thru the day. Need I say that the parking lot is huge.

This restaurant is awesome. The food is delicious. Make sure to get the "combo". It's italian beef and sausage and is the best. The chili cheese dog is good as well. French fries are better than 5 guys. The customer service was very personable. There isnt much space to sit down to eat but get it to go if you have to. This definitely is a must go to.
