I really like the people in Temple and it is easy to get around. They have all the convenience of a large city without the hassle. The area is very green with lots of trees and very pretty and don't forget Lake Belton and stop by the Dead Fish Grill for really good food and a great view!!!

I had been to this place multiple times and is one of my favorite Asian restaurant in the area. There is ample parking area, easy to.get in and out. The dining area is somewhat small but enough for this eatery. The pace superbly clean. The service is fast, my appetizer is less than one minute the and my entries in about 3 minutes. The food was fresh, nice and hot and delicious. If you want a quiet place to.enjoy your meal this is the place.

This is a take-out only establishment, but the burgers are like the home-made greasy burgers that we all love! It's best to call in your order so that you don't have to wait. This is a family owned local business. I can't say much for the fries, but my husband gets them. I get a bag of chips, and I'm happy for the day! It closes around 7:00 in the evening, so it's mainly a lunch place.

You get consistency here. You know that the burgers will be large and tasty. The fries will be very plentiful, and a bit too salty. And then there are the free peanuts. Not exactly a cheap place, but at least you know what to expect.

I think the one between San Antonio and Austin is bigger (billed as the biggest convenience store in the world) but this place can't be missed if you're driving on the I-35. Pros: clean restrooms, cheap gas, lots of parking, an endless array of road snack options, and even souvenirs if you're traveling from out-of-state.It seems crazy that I'm giving a truck stop 5 stars but it's equal parts rest stop and experience. Apparently everything is bigger in Texas!
