The Vitamin Palace is strategically located along Abu Baker Siddeeq Road, opposite the Chamber of Commerce Building in Taif. You can easily find it because of the eye-catching display of fresh fruits that are creatively arranged to serve as indoor decor. I visited Vitamin Palace last night and was pleasantly surprised to learn that aside from fresh fruit juices, this restaurant serves Shawarma Arabic style and broasted chicken. It reminds me very much of Juice World in Jeddah. The dining area is spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. I suggest they provide a bigger and wider straw since it is difficult to sip the smoothies through a narrow straw. I think I will be visiting this place more often when I happen to be around Shobra area. Highly recommended.

Jollibee is a popular fastfood which most Filipinos frequent everywhere in the world, and the Branch in Taif is no exception. The best seller is usually Chicken Joy which comes in three pieces per order. The staff are mostly Filipinos. There is a dining area inside the fast food if you do not wish to join the crowd at the food court next to the Skating Rink. Definitely a good place where you can grab a quick meal. Recommended!

I visited Kudu Store No. 5 located along Al Shehar Street in Al Shihar District because I want to grab a quick meal after a long and busy day at work. Except for the Saudi Store Manager, the rest of the staff on duty were Filipinos. I ordered a Turkey sandwich and got another sandwich free of charge which turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Kudu has always been one of my favorite fast food chains in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 1996 and for a good reason. I always get good value for my money!

After visiting the nearby Al Adwani Hospital me and my colleagues went to Mc Donalds. We ordered the big meals which were made available in a couple of minutes. Service was good and so are the burgers. However, when I went to the toilet I got turned off because it was dirty and stinky. Perhaps the management should give more premium on cleanliness and hygiene which are paramount to any food business.
