Things to do in Syracuse
We were driving by and I saw it. I hadn't planned to stop but since I discovered that I love their chocolate Dunford Bakers donut mixed in with vanilla ice cream shake I wanted another one! This location was better than the Layton one! My above the rim shake was packed full of huge chunks of Dunford Bakers donuts!!!! It was pure heaven. We were even able to use coupons that the other location gave us. I'll be back again for another shake, especially if it's packed full of donuts!
A fun place to get some American Style Mexican Food. I eat here about every 2 weeks and have never been disappointed. The staff knows me by name and welcomes me every time I come in. One of the hidden secrets of this Taco Time is⦠If you ask nicely they will cut the Crisp Burritos in Half or Quarter size bits. This makes it easier to handle, plus for some reason they tastes better. So the next time youâre in the Syracuse Utah area, stop by the Taco Time for some personalized service.
Where to eat Asian food in Syracuse: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Laid-back counter-serve Mexican chain with Baja-style tacos & burritos plus gluten-free options. Ultimate fresh mex made your way - exactly as you love it!
I really like Cafe Rio and heard the Costa Vida was identical, so I was excited to have dinner there. The restaurant is set up the same, you order and walk along as they prepare your food to your liking. When you order a salad, they place the cooked tortilla in the bottom of the pan, then add ingredients on top. However, unlike the other restaurant, they use a soup ladle for the toppings, which allows the liquid to sit on top of the tortilla. By the time you eat your way down to the tortilla, it is a soggy mess. They really need to use a slotted spoon and drain the ingredients first.

This place is quick and the food is delicious. My favorite entrees are the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, the Aloha Mango Salad and the Kahuna Burger. My biggest complaint with this place is that it's always freezing cold inside. I'm not a person who tends to be cold, but it could stand to be 10 degrees warmer no matter the season. We usually get our food to go because of temperature.

The location here has yummy salad. If you are looking to experience something different than Cafe Rio give Chipotle a try. Chipotle is not my favorite restaurant, but when I do go the food is really good and full of flavor. If you are watching your calories you can get a pork salad for 700 calories compared to Cafe Rio salad which is more like 1400 calories. Good size portions not too big, just right.
