We ordered through hungry house at 19.38. We were advised by email the order would be with us between 20.00 and 21.00 which I thought was a tad long but at least we were informed. At 21.10 i spent 10 minutes trying to get through to the restaurant to no avail. Engaged. At 21.30 the food turned up, which was cold! We both had one bite of pizza and spat it out. We phoned the restaurant who were extremely rude and didnt want to know. I was so angry I drove to the restaurant to return the food which they reluctantly did. Please please please do yourself a favour and use golden spice in woodville for kebabs and la pizzeria in swadlincote or dominoes for pizza. This place sucks

Good little cafe situated in a block of shops slightly out of Swadlincote Town Centre. Free parking available should you visit in a car.Food is your traditional Full English type fare with breakfasts and sandwichs galore which I have to say are bang on. I Believe they also offer a delivery service! Food is tasty, well cooked and good size portions. On a Sunday morning, they do a breakfast special which is good value for money.The only thing I would say is that if you do want to order what you want, makes sure you get there an hour before closing so your not disapointed. I recently visited around 25 mins before closing to be told by staff that all they had left was 'sausage & bacon'. I also left with the impression that the staff were not really interested. Put abit of a downer on my opinion if I'm honest and is the reason for four stars and not five. I get that staff might want to get off home on time but if you state a time your open to then in my opinion, service should be offered until then.Other than that little blip, great cafe with good food! Worth a visit!

Surprised by the bad reviews, we had a very bad experience here 15 odd years ago so had been put off going back. But around 18 months ago we tried again on my husband's parents recommendation. So glad we did, we've had probably 8-10 takeaways since, 2 of which were big £90+ orders for a family get-together, all of which have been spot on. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Crispy duck with pancakes, yuk sung, salt and chilli ribs and salt and chilli chicken wings are our favourite. They were also able to do ribs in syrup even though they are not on the menu.

I have using Andyâs fish bar since the day it opened in Chuch Gresley. The shop is now being run by Chris, one of Andys sons.Chris is constantly lmproving the business for the benefit of his customers. Recently converting half the premises into a seating area, charging customers NO more if they decide to sit in and eat.

I love this fish and chip shop. Cod or haddock in crispy batter - thick and juicy with big white flakes. Battered sausage with that special sausagey taste that crunchy battered soss should have. Mushy peas, curry sauce and unusual chips coated in something slightly orange before they are cooked that makes them yumptious! Dinner of kings. Try it, you won't be dissapointed...

As we are on holiday in the area we googled local Chinese takeaways in the area and this GEM came up. We ordered the mixed starter for £6 and it is HUGE!!! Filled two of us without mains so we struggled to polish them off! Every part of the meal was delicious and the delivery driver was lovely and polite. Highly recommend!!!

Go to Marlin and you will never want to go anywhere else. Cooked fresh while you wait, even a tray of free chips while you are waiting. This is the ultimate Fish Shop. The menu is not just Fish and Chips they do lots of other stuff as well all cooked to perfection. Try it for yourself and you will be sold on Marlin.

So I don't get fish from here anymore as it's always greasy and slimy. I popped in to get a cone of chips today and the lady started dishing up a normal portion. When I reiterated that I said cone she told me I have to ask for them to be open. Who EVER asks for a cone of chips to be open. IT'S A CONE!!! She then told me at least twice that I should have said open to which I said don't worry about it I don't want them.As I was leaving two people said bye to me in a very sarcastic way. The manager then came out into the car park shouting at me and as I drove off he tried to hit me through my car window!!! Absolutely incredible stuff. I have never witnessed anything like it in my life. I only wanted a cone of chips. (Open obviously).
