I'm not sure exactly what is different about this Hardee's restaurant but it is. The staff are friendlier than the other ones and the food seems to be better as well. My husband goes there every morning for the breakfast platter and he says their grits are the best in town.

Stopped here based on the previous review...great choice! It's a travel stop gas station but tucked in this place is a fantastic cafe. Clean area, fresh food and very friendly people. The food was great and reasonably priced. I had the grilled ham and cheese with French fries, Mom had a burger with potato salad. Both great choices add two drinks all for under $12. Placed looked like a popular spot for local lunch, guys next to us had the roast beef sandwich and it looked tasty also.

I have been wanting to try some of their newer offering but the Board Street location is closed for remodeling. Have been to this location several time but was never impressed by accessibility or service.Boy have things changed.Went today and while traffic in an dut is still a bear. service has almost gotten to the point of two good if that is possible. Pulled in, one car ahead of me, no problem, he pulled away an I pulled up and place my ofder.Pulled around after ordering the car ahead on me had already cleared and I went I went to the first window and paid and within a less than a minute, my order was there.For a change, this location puts the fast back into fast service and the service into fast servuce,A huge improvement and now a definite lunch possibility=y''

This restaurant is amazing in so many aspects! This is the hard-to-find authentic, family run Italian restaurant that you would travel a distance to dine in! Every dish that we have ordered there is superb, especially the fried calamari, Detroit pizza and the special 2 pound stuffed meatballs (offered on special dates.) On top of the mouth watering meals, the prices are very reasonable and the whole staff is so friendly (be sure to ask for Gina, the wife of one of the owners/chefs as your waitress! What a doll she is!). Another honorable mention is the reasonably priced wine list that includes very nice Italian wines that compliment the meals. Our whole family has embraced this restaurant as a âfavoriteâ, so much so that upon their last visit, we cancelled a 5 star restaurant reservation (this was a unanimous vote!) in Davidson to dine there TWO nights in a row. Itâs a fabulous restaurant to bring a large family to - sure to please everyone! Iâm getting a little hungry just thinking about it..... Well done Pellegrinos! We will be back soon.

Our offices are about a quarter of a mile from here ahd we have working lunches fairly frequently. This is our order spot of choice.Everytime we have order, we've gottne exactly what we ordered, when we ordered it and no surprises.They have given us gerat serivce in the past and continue to do so till this day.Great restaurant

Saw the signs on the interstate and decided to give it a try. Greasy spoon is right, but t the foot long and fries were very good. Had a butterscotch milkshake and it was very good as well. Small place with a family atmosphere. The young man who took my order was nice and polite. While the place was by no means filthy, just looking around it could stand a good cleaning fanatic to stop by. Will definitely eat here again.
