Sittingbourne is an industrial town situated in the Swale district of Kent in south east England, 17 miles (27 km) from Canterbury and 45 miles (72 km) from London. The town sits beside the Roman Watling Street, an ancient British trackway used by the Romans and the Anglo-Saxons and next to the Swale, a strip of sea separating mainland Kent from the Isle of Sheppey. The town became prominent after the death of Thomas Becket in 1170, since it provided a convenient resting point on the road from London to Canterbury and Dover.

A damp and chilly summer Wednesday evening saw us out for a meal. We booked La Pizzeria and so pleased we did. The restaurant was full! A warm welcome awaited us and the atmosphere was cosy and interesting. The meal was of superb quality made with love and passion. The hand made pizzas fabulous and fully loaded! If you are looking for a excellent quality food, plenty of it too, then look no further.Very clean. Attentive, friendly and helpful waiting staff. Highly recommend this restaurant to you all. Families and Couples. Thank you all.

We have used this take away a few times as really close and u would expect quick service...Not really sure the owner knows what the word "service" means.....It seems as though everyone is told 40 mins delivery time and yet they obviously have the same abilty to tell the time as Joey Essex...Order placed @ 6.20p.m....3 calls later and having been told it had left @ 7.30...25mins later it turns up cold and advised that more urgent order had to be satisfied en route past our address...Driver really apologetic as food COLD...understandably...requested replacement and was prespared to wait even though now nearly 1hr 30m...stated if manager needed to speak...please call us...Surprise surprise...no call...no food by 9p.m....these cowboys need a customer service and management course QUICK....Golden rule.....underpromise on service and overachieve....NOT the other way around....Needless to say my money will be spent elsewhere in the future......

Used this place about 4/5 times when I'm working in the area, went there today (20/02/2019) and decided to eat in with my workmates. Didn't know they done anything other than fish'n'chips to be honest so was pleasantly surprised by the menu we all opted for the 'All Day Breakfast', the food exceeded my expectations, it was hot, tasty and a good portion size. The staff we found were very customer focused, polite and did an excellent job. The Restaurant was very clean and welcoming, the men's toilets were spotlessly clean, the whole experience exceeded my expectations - Well Done A+

Went here for breakfast, really not good. Bacon and beans cold. Toast was Luke warm but hard and chewy. I know it's a cheap breakfast but it should be edible. Not enjoyable at all, never again!!!!!I am sorry to hear that you have had an unpleasant experience in my café. It is very important to me that my customers receive the best service and food possible. With this in mind I would urge you to come again and I will see to it personally that you have a more positive experience.

Well cooked meal we ate in, huge portion especially the plaice my wife had. My only gripe was I was not over impressed by the tartar sauce, but would definitely eat here again.

I live in Herne Bay, but during the football season, we drive to London with a friend from Sittingbourne on a regular basis. The Aida is an unmissable part of the day, even though when we get it home, it has to be re-heated. Ok, it is pricier than most others, and an XL is recommended if youâre hungry, but sometimes you get what you pay for. As far as their excellent doner goes, they use one of those proper tools, so itâs always nice and thinly sliced. Chilli sauce is top drawer too, as well as great salad that has none of the dreadful red cabbage doused in a gallon of vinegar that you get in most places. If youâre not a fan of the âhiveâ and the doner meat, then the Aidaâs selection of shish etc is also second to none. Particularly worthy of mention are the âmelt in the mouthâ Shashlik and the superb chicken shish. So, swerve all the others and make the effort to visit the Aida. You wonât regret it.

What can I say - this is one excellent fish 'n' chip shop!+ very friendly service+ fish: large, thick, white filets; perfectly cooked whilst remaining juicy/fluffy; crunchy batter+ fries: thick; well salted; very generous portions+ optional splash of vinegar+ mayonnaise, tomato and tartar sauce portions to goOne small minus point:This really is just a chippy to go. No small table to stand or sit at to eat.Overall, simply great value for money! Plus the location on the A2 is perfect if you're passing by.

I only discovered Marinos a few years ago and must say I will never go to another fish and chip shop after finding it! The food is impeccable, always with big portions that will definitely fill you up! And Ive always gotten service with a smile. They definitely go the extra mile to make you feel welcomed where they can. Not only do they do brilliant food, but they also serve gluten free battered fish and chips which you will not find anywhere else around here! Would 100% recommend a trip! You will not regret it!
