Owned and operated by Mr JB himself.An ice cream heaven for those sharing a love for Italian gelato and sorbet's - not forgetting or omitting the Soft serve department. Served with either wafer or sugar cones and or the trusty cup version. R10.00 - R 18.00 for the soft serve.A range of delightful flavours on offer - To name but a few - caramel fudge and flake, peaches and cream, Zanzibar vanilla pod, blueberry cheese cake and the orange seville. Pizza Khaya.Eish Pappa.On route to Simon's Town (Glen Cairn) there lies a colourful and very traditional looking Pizza venue.Menu included.This little pizza place has been through good time and bad time - with some good and some not so good neighbors.However its still standing and flourishing, that in its self is testament to the pizzas produced and the dedication of the owner.The menu is small - if going on what other establishments print out, but the originality is a work of art ie African art.Never heard of or seen an Eish Pizza (Mushrooms,spinach,onion,jalapeño, garlic and tomato), Daaris Salami (yip you guessed it - salami, olives and sun dried tomatoes) or even the Nyama Nyama Pizza (salami, borewors and ham) before.The Safari Pizza is a cracker - bacon, blue cheese and sweet chilli sauce.Originality at its bestIf you fear the beating of the drums and wish to create your own, you are more than welcome.The pizzas put out - conventional oven - are a decent size and not lacking in filling.Pricing is cheaper than the other franchised brands around and in all fairness are just as good, if not better.Situated next to The Viper Lounge one can enjoy a decent pizza and at the same time linger on a lager.Thanking YouMr G Marcus Gibbons

This restaurant was part of our â memory laneâ 12 years ago on our honeymoon. We arrived and no one really told us we can sit or where. We then went to sit by a table. The service was TERRIBLE. Our waitress must have had a problem with us for no reason. She took our drinks order and then returned with them and took the food order. We were deciding on sharing dishes but she was very impatient. Anyhow, we ordered Hake and chips with a kids meal. Food came out and our waitress never made any effort to check if we are fine and wanted anything else. She dodged our table, walking so fast and making no eye contact to signal for assistance. There was a time I saw many staff members behind the bar on their cellphones whilst just wanting to order another soft drink ( which by the way is over priced ). We ended up standing up from our table, took the left over food on our plates and asked for the bill. We did not pay any tip fee due to the fact that the service was poor. I think if the service was better the food would have tasted better. We will not return.
