Who doesn't like Subway sandwiches? They are healthy, tasty and reasonably priced as always and they are a great option. I am a Vegetarian and I like the Veggie sandwich. That is what I had and I liked it. Recommend.

We chose Steak 'n Shake for breakfast because we were planning on a 1030 hrs. show at the nearby Allstate Arena. When we walked in, there were only about three other people in the restaurant. We were seated immediately and given menus, but then the service slowed to a molasses flow. We always try to figure out what my grandkids want before we get to the restaurant, just to get their food ordered quickly, but that plan didn't work. We opted for an order of the kids' chocolate chip pancakes. We know that neither of them are huge eaters, so one order worked out perfectly. For us, we went to the "2 for $3" value menu. We chose a smokey BBQ steakburger & a Swiss & mushroom steakburger, but when they arrived, they were definitely small burgers and, though tasty, really did get lost in the bun. We weren't looking for a huge meal, since we figured that the kids would probably end up with popcorn or something at Disney On Ice. The price was reasonable, as the four of us ate for $14.00, but the service was just slow. Our server, Vikendrea, just didn't seem enthused at all. I doubt that I'd order from that "2 for $3" menu again.

Was at O'Hare waiting for my flight to Sacramento. Stopped at Burrito Beach and had a breakfast burrito and a soda. I like to get the burritos this way since you decide exactly what you want on it and how much. Served hot and quickly and I was on my way. Very good sandwich and it is always good to get them this way so it is something different. Certainly was a very good stop!

Maurice and Flaurie Berman, the co-founders of Superdawg Drive-In at 6363 North Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago, at the corner of Milwaukee, Devon and Nagle, are gone. But the legendary, iconic, one-of-a-kind hot dog stand they founded in 1948, with car hop service, a Chicago-style hot dog like no other and the traditional figures on the roof are still there. My wife and I have been making periodic trips to Superdawg since we got married in the 1970s. But friends have been loyal customers since the 1950s. A trip to Superdawg recalls memories of the 1950s, when drive-ins and car hops were so popular, when you drove your father's car for the first time and took a date along. We recently drove up North Milwaukee Avenue to get our monthly Superdawg fix. Superdawg isn't a weiner or frankfurter or red hot. It's a slab of juicy pure beef that is bigger than any other hot dog, no pork or veal or cereal or filler of any kind, with all the trimmings--mustard, piccalilli, Kosher dill pickle, chopped Spanish onions and hot peppers on a poppy seed bun. With an order of Super Fries. And wash it all down with a chocolate milk shake and large mug of root beer. Eating in your car never tasted so good.

I liked the Tortilla Soup, which tasted quite different from the hundreds of examples I have had in Mexico, but was very good. The calabacita chilaquiles were just OK. The green sauce was a bit overpowering and the totopos were soggy.
