FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED SINCE 1974. We hand toss our pizzas and top them with the best whole milk mozzarella & home made pizza sauce. Our pizza dough is made from scratch and allowed to proof overnight to develop a flavorful crust. We are especially pro
This was the first time ever that we weren't pleased as normal. The waitress was unfamiliar with the order taking, there was no fresh salad bar, and the food we selected was a very unusual mix. It was the special of the day, always a winner, but not now. Salmon, shrimp, crab, and tiny clams just didn't get our usual 5âï¸ rating. The lemon sauce didn't help the flavors and the clams were not tender. The pasta, served with red sauce, did not help enhance the flavor. Best part of the meal? The wine.

We went on a Sunday morning for lunch, quite place and thin crust is my type of thing, seems old varieties to choose and they have seasonal local veggie, wish beverages can have more options but enough for my taste, definitely come back in the future.

We stopped by for lunch and had an assortment of Middle Eastern favorites. We ordered 2 falafel picas, a lamb gyro and a vegetarian platter. Everyone was pleased and noted that the food was much better than average but not outstanding. I would come back and eat there again gladly even though I would be on the lookout for something truly outstanding which we all know is not that easy to find.

Becky's is the prototypical local/neighborhood eatery. We arrived for our first visit just before 11am, when breakfast is no longer available. My companion and I each had a delicious breakfast sandwich (mine was the signature "Becky), which we each enjoyed immensely. On the wall by our table were memorabilia and old newspaper articles from the '50s, when Becky's dad was a member of the old Philadelphia Warriors basketball team (now the Golden State Warriors). Very cool! My only disappointment is that Becky's closes after lunch in mid-afternoon. But next time I'm on State Street at lunchtime, I will check out the lunch fare that others have raved about!
