I visit this Carl's on occasion. Each time I've gone, I've been asked to wait in the parking lot. While this isn't a problem, I think it's to try to "game" their tracking system. If I wanted to wait, I'd have gone in and ordered.

Items must be ordered by touch screen. This was tedious and inefficient. I wanted two identical items but I had to start over to add the second item. this order would have taken 30 seconds to place with a human. Place was not busy, only about 6 people inside, most of whom were eating but it still took 15 minutes to get 2 sandwiches. Sandwiches far too expensive for what you get.

All that I can say about Bakers is the food isn't that great. The menu has a variety of food but it doesn't taste all that hot. California doesn't have any good food like in Houston
