Things to do in Ramsgate
A sunny Easter Sunday in Ramsgate, Kent. The day with my family was definitely well spent.A different day to the traditional Easter roast.Instead a journey down South to the beautiful coast.Cappuccinos were hosting an Eggciting chocolate hunt. All along the countrypark and across the front.Golf balls were hidden along the hedgerow,Where we all went searching with our baskets in tow.The balls then exchanged for a chocolate egg treat,Which melted in the sun before we could eat.Talking of eating we stopped and tasted the food. The menu extremely varied to suit every mood.Hot, cold, vegan and veggie. Both traditional dishes and some more edgy.Very reasonable prices and quickly served,Meant the five star rating is most definitely deserved. The coffee was hot; washing my food down nice,At a couple of quid each they were well worth the price.Served by two gentlemen â Mick and Mark. The highlight of my visit to the country park. Both very polite, efficient and fun,Happy and playing along with my son!If your in Ramsgate, Cliffs End or Pegwell Bay,Campuccinos is well worth a visit before the end of your day!
Where do I start...Whenever I'm down from the big smoke I'll always make an effort to come to this place! Delightful food (recommend the cod and chips!) and really pleasant staff. Always a smile on the face of the Turkish fella Ellis!A warm welcome for me and the Mrs when we visit ('London Sam' they call me! Lol) which gives the place a lovely local feel. Can't recommend the place highly enough! Great chippy! 10/10

I have to have fish without batter, so far this was the only chippie that could not do this, fish pre prepared obviously. I ordered a fish cake instead, it came up greasy, tastless and resembled a greasy rice-cake. Hubby,s large cod was inches in batter and compared to others was medium sized and greasy. Chips were plentiful, but mainly dried up crispy bits. I was not cheap either compared with others nearby, where we shall be going in future, the staff were somewhat sullen, but dishing that lot up, not a surprise !

We have ordered many times from here, my favourite is the lamb shush wrap and it's always tasty and cooked well. The pizzas I find hit and miss, I do find if I change the toppings round so it has to be made from fresh it's much nicer, as when I've ordered a standard one before it seemed like it had been sat around for hours! Delivery is always prompt and normally delivered before the allotted time!

I go out of my way when possible to include a visit to Peterâs Fish Factory. Here, I am guaranteed great fish and chips. On this occasion I visited the Ramsgate outlet. Though the fish was as per usual excellent as were the chips I was a disappointed that the menu wasnât exactly the same as their outlet in Margate. Luckily, as fish is frequently in some form or other in my diet, a major coronary attack was averted when the friendly young man serving informed me that my favourite âWhitebaitâ was not on their menu. He added that it wasnât popular around here. Can this be true. Are the customers in Ramsgate so different from those in Margate. What has changed. What is the difference. Was it the Turner Centre opposite the Margate chippy that has driven a lemon wedge between this once homogeneous group. It couldnât have been Brexit, could it. I sat outside Peterâs Fish Factory in Ramsgate on a supper hot August day and contemplated what further changes lay ahead, while tucking into some delicious cod and chips with generous splashingâs of vinegar. As fish is reputed to be good for the brain perhaps I will come up with some answer's soon.( the above review was submitted to TripAdvisor 3 times and was rejected, I assume by their algorithms detecting a breach of their rules regarding questions. Therefore I have now deleted all the question marks.)

This has opened in the last week. Google still shows the former restaurant here called Cornish Pasty Co.
Being an elderly man who has eaten many fish and chip meals I consider that I am well qualified to judge it's qualityI have no hesitation in recommending this shop. the chips are excellent together with the battered fish making it a perfect meal for any one who likes quality food.

We popped here as it was the only place we could find in Ramsgate with a vegan menu. We expected tofish and chips and were really looking forward to trying it. And then we saw the menu... The vegan menu is huge!! Vegan kebabs, sausages, battered sausages, fish cakes, pies, and lots more! Then there's the gluten free menu and the 'normal' menu. It's amazing! You can sit in, even our dog was welcome inside, or take away. The owner was so friendly. The service was fab. The food was great. What a good idea to batter tofu with seaweed. It's reminiscent of fish and chips if that's what you are looking for, but not too close if you don't like fish. The chips were yum, not oily at all. And we had extra 'tapas' salads as part of the meal which were unexpected but really tasty. Also have soya milk so the tea went down well Our dog was looked after too with water and a sausage, he was a very happy boy!
