Orcutt is an unincorporated town located in the Santa Maria Valley of California, and a census-designated place; it is in Santa Barbara County, California, United States. Orcutt is named for William Warren Orcutt, the manager of the Geological, Land and Engineering Departments of the Union Oil Company. Known as the “Dean of Petroleum Geologists" Orcutt is credited with discovering fossilized prehistoric animal bones preserved in pools of asphalt on the Hancock Ranch. These would be the first of many fossils excavated from the La Brea Tar Pits. In commemoration of Orcutt’s initial discovery, paleontologists named the La Brea Coyote in W.W. Orcutt’s honor, Canis orcutti.

Stopped at this McDonalds for breakfast. It's the first McD's I've ever been to that had a specific theme. It was styled like a 1950's soda shop and absolutely adorable. I think it might be a new restaurant...not sure. It has all the regular McD's menu items. It was spotlessly clean and the staff friendly. A very nice change of pace for a McDonald's.

At Jersey Mike's, we offer a sub above - one that's measured in more than inches or seconds 'til served. We carefully consider every aspect of what we do - every slice, every sandwich, every store - we provide our customers with sustenance and substance t
We have been to this location many times and love the sandwiches and usually have very quick service. Since they started their "online" ordering, it seems that it has slowed up their sandwich making for the walk in customers and ordering ahead still doesn't speed up the process for those people picking up those orders. We were there last Thursday for lunch, arriving at 12:20. There were 5 people ahead of me in line and 3 additional people waiting for their "online" orders and only 3 young ladies making sandwiches. I finally got to order my sandwich until 12:43. If I had been on a 1/2 hour lunch, I never would have made it back to work on time. While the young ladies were very professional and apologetic, it must have been hard on them as well. If I were the manager I would definitely be looking at my staffing for 11-1:30 time frame. This incident won't stop us from eating there, we will just pick a different time of day.Thank you for sharing your feedback here on TripAdvisor. it a McDonalds so not much to say.The hamburgers are awful. The Filet of fish is OK. The iced tea is good (not the sweet tea). but the drive-thru takes forever. They need to start parking cars again so people in a hurry don't have to wait so long
Decided to eat lunch here because Orcutt Burger was a little far to drive. Although Orcutt Burger owns Santa Maria Burger somehow Orcutt Burger is better. The zucchini is still delicious and my burger was good. Not sure what they do, but Orcutt Burgers are better.
