Are you looking for a light, absolutely delicious, authentic Italian lunch that's good for you? You've just found it. It's at âKe Ci Metto?â which, roughly translated, means âHow'd you like it?â And that's exactly what Marco and his wife Francesca will ask you when you enter their adorable little panino shop. Youâll get your panino âas you like itâ on a freshly baked traditional focaccia with cumin seeds, or a variety of unusual flours such as spinach-potato and kamut, served with their homemade Italian spreads, grilled or fresh vegetables, cheese and cold cuts. Or save on calories and have what I order: an "insalatone", an American-sized salad with spicy pecorino cheese and sun-dried tomatoes artistically arranged on a bed of curly lettuce and arugula. And until this hidden gem is discovered, you can enjoy your creation surrounded by Italians, not tourists, right in the center of Florence!

This is really a special place. Never seen such a "snack bar". Lots of creative "fast food" with excellent ingridients and low prices. They also serve Lampredotto, a local specialty. Wont tell what it is, but dare everybody to try it. Go there and check it out!

Got two sandwiches here for breakfast - prosciutto and turkey, both with mozzarella and tomato. The bread was delicious was a little too crusty on the outside (made it a little difficult to eat), but the meat, cheese, and tomatoes were incredibly flavorful!

Our walking tour guide recommended this place as the local spot for Lampredotto and he did not disappoint. My husband and I always like to try the local dishes and were told we couldn't leave Florence without trying this one. I admit to being a little apprehensive, but it was really good. Definitely get a lot of napkins though!

This is our 5th visit to Florence and we have stayed in The Oltrarno area 3 times now. We love the neighborhood feeling. Amici di Ponte Vecchio is a great hole in the wall that has Pizza and Sandwiches however, the pizza is a Focaccia style of Pizza. No sauce. Itâs delicious and a must while you are in Firenze.

Thought you didnât like cow stomach? Well think again! Situated in the north of central Florence, this tiny little truck does great trippa (tripe) and lampredotto (fourth cow stomach) sandwiches, gently seasoned. The proprietors serve locals and tourists alike and help contribute to a great atmosphere. The food is also cheap - my partner and I bought a sandwich each, two bottles of water and the indispensable cup of red wine for â¬11 between us. Itâs well worth your while to walk the extra few minutes out of the city centre for one of the best meals youâll have in Florence.

We loved our visit to SandwiChic, the manager was extremely helpful helping us with the menu and offering suggestions on what to order! The sandwiChic of the day was delicious, the flavours complimented each other and the bread was springy and light. Hope we get chance to return!

Artisan sandwiches filled with salami Tuscan dishes, cutting boards and croutons. sale of exclusively Tuscan wine, organic oil of the territory, jams and honey from small local producers.
We were warmly greeted, advised and helped by the owner who made the effort of speaking French with us. He also had menus in a lot of different languages which is very rare. My first time trying panini wasnât disappointing at all, it was delicious! Cheap, tasty, made with quality ingredients and large portion too! Bread was crispy, there was a lot meat (not too much bread). Also very well-located in Florence. I can only recommend and would totally go again and try other panini and boards/plates. Thank you!!

Pizza ( and more... )
My friends and I have been going to this little pizza place during our stay. You choose the pizza you want, then they weigh it and heat it in the oven. It is different from the traditional pizza, more like an open faced sandwich...fresh ingredients and friendly staff. There is a washroom, and a few high tables with stools. Go early because sometimes they sell out.
