Best fish and chip shop Iâve ever been to.. hands down!! Everything is freshly cooked and tastes amazing . The staff are also really friendly and the prices are very reasonable! I would 100% recommend!

Rank haddock which could be smelt the moment I unwrapped the oil soaked paper. Phoned to advise of the health risk and after a short conversation and them putting the phone down decided to return in person. Unfortunately the shop was full and after waiting nearly ten minutes to speak to the manager I went to the front of the queue. The manger tried to decline there was anything wrong until I insisted she tried for herself, which she did and quickly spat it out. Then blame her fish supplier... I think the blame should undoubtedly stop at Tayloy's door. Been going to Taylor's for years but this evening will be the last. No way could they have no realised the fish was OFF by its offensive smell before frying it, let alone serving and selling it ..

Great takeaway. They offer superb service and courtesy and food arrives quickly and piping hot. Oh and it's also excellent too!

Community Oven is a wood fired Pizza oven that does the rounds in the Wealden area of East Sussex. Friday night it is in Heathfield, check the website for their other locations. This is proper wood fired Pizza from a converted Horse box they make cook and serve the Pizza. Their menu is short but well selected with interesting and tasty options. The prices are good too. Way tastier than the other chain pizzas. I called up in the morning to book mine as it can get very busy, but don't worry if it does, pop into Cuculo Deli for a glass of wine while you wait. I'll be back. 5-8.30 PM Fridays in Heathfield.
