Limenaria (Greek: Λιμενάρια) is a village on the island of Thasos in northern Greece. The village numbers 2480 residents (2011 census) and is the second largest settlement on the island of Thasos. The settlement is a popular tourist destination since the 1960s, with a 1.2 km long strand of beach (Stelakis Beach) and a number of smaller coves and pebbly beaches just to the west of the settlement next to the village of Trypiti (Τρυπητή), being the main tourist magnet for the locality. The village is also popular for tourists around the island for a visible view of the Holy Site of Mount Athos.

Found this on our last day, lovely little beach bar with great service. Much quieter nicer part of the beach but not far from the harbour. Food was lovely and beanbag loungers the most comfortable we had all holiday. Shame we didn't find it sooner!

Can't understand why nobody has reviewed this place, perhaps it's because it is full of locals, traditional street food in the main street, family run and very friendly, just have to grab a table when one becomes available, pork gyros in a pitta with chips thrown in for under â¬3 what a bargain, go big and have the club gyros, three pittas sandwich style stuffed full of pork & chicken with chips great for big appetites, pancakes freshly made, absolutely delicious, don't get me wrong not a place for a special occasion, great for people watching and fantastic value.

We drove around the island and stopped at this great little beach called Pefkari It has easy access with plenty of parking and some tree shade. it is around a 40 minute drive from Golden Beach, but well worth a visit. It needs to be marketed more in order to be recognised.Pefkari is a pebble beach and with crystal clear water; it is excellent for swimming.We used the restaurant's sun loungers which were new this season and beach umbrella. There was no pressure here to keep buying drinks, although there is a clear sign stating that there is a small cover charge for using the loungers. We had several ice-cold beers and also a great, really well topped pizza at E9; plenty for two. You can have food served on the beach or in the rustic restaurant. The restaurant/bar is run by Elizabeth who is attentive and friendly. Great service also free Wi-Fi. Really worth stopping if you are out on a drive; we enjoyed it so much we returned for a second visit and had the pizza for lunch a second time!By the way, the toilet facilities were spotlessly clean.

There is plenty to choose from and the staff were nice. We ordered a variety of greek starters and they were all very nice. The grilled feta and the hummus were particular favourites. There are good options for kids too and my little boy really appreciated the fish fingers.There was a great variety of fish on offer and the options we tried were delicious.
