Called in on Thursday teatime on a stroll around the village, usually go to the other chippy nearby but wanted to try this one, on approaching the door bewildered customers were everywhere as there was no kind of ordering system so some folks had ordered, some had not,some had paid & others hadnât, just give out a ticket with a number on it as we stood outside with no idea whoâs food was whoâs.... simple, when we got our 2x cod n chips they were excellent & we thoroughly enjoyed them, will go again.

This is my nearest chippy, and the food is really good. Best Haddock I've had and you get so many chips, the birds end up having them as well.Wife has a spring roll and she says its very tasty, this time I had a couple of fish cakes, my mistake as they are huge. No complaints from me.

Aside from the steak, great pizzas and kebabs too. Efficient service, food always good, polite staff. Disappointing that opening time is at 3pm which missed the lunch time rush although, again as wirh other local eateries, may be more determined by older local clientele not being in the fast food market, even if it's great fast food, and you get generations working during the day.Never had a complaint about this place, the food or the service. They do deliveries too if you can't be bothered to visit in person.

We had a takeaway delivered for the family which arrived in really good time , the food was hot and the quality was superb however we were missing part of the order.I phoned to make them aware of the mistake and before we had finished dishing up the main part of our meal the missing item arrived , great service and a very tasty meal , I would recommend without hesitation!

Were going to have lunch on the Pier then spotted Perrys up a side street. Glad we did. Spotless, simply furnished restaurant serving some of the best fish and chips we have tasted. The medium haddock was so fresh and the chips were delicious. Portions were huge and came complete with bread and butter and a mug of tea. Friendly and fast service, definitely with a smile. Don't be put off by the exterior, this place is a gem.
