I have travelled all over the world and it is hard to find anywhere that provides good food consistantly every visit. I Highly Recommend this Chinese Takeaway if you like good quantity added to authentic flavour at a reasonable price also, this is the place for you. The chicken and sweetcorn soup is Brilliant as is any of the Salt & Pepper or Salt, Pepper and Chilli dishes, other places make the mistake of making them overly hot, here it is flovoursome and they will make a dish more or less hot as required, but I advise against this as it will mess with a great taste. Highly Recommended to anyone with taste buds.

We have visited here several times and always found the food good. We visited last week for the first time in a few months, I ordered the same dish as I always do and it was disappointing to see that the quality of the food had changed somewhat and the meat appears of much less quality as previous visits. I'll not be rushing back.

Usually I don't go overboard when reviewing eating establishments but I feel I must where Blackburn's are concerned, I live a few miles away in Heysham and make a special journey just to dine here for lunch every week and have for decades.The owner is a revelation, extremely friendly and has so much knowledge about the town for day trippers and those unsure whilst holidaying in the area.The customer service you receive is second to none and then you come to the food that's cooked fresh to order, my personal choice is Fish, chips, peas and gravy, served with Bread & Butter and tartare sauce along with a decent cup of Tea, very consistent in both quality & quantity.It's TOP marks from me!

The food at JG Burrito bar is delicious. As well as my savoury burrito I also had a chocolate burrito which was amazing. I'll only have one next time though as they are really filling.We had to wait a little while for the food but it was freshly cooked so we didn't mind.They had a lovely Alice in Wonderland tea party inspired room in the back.The staff are really helpful and friendly.

Best chippy in the local area. Very accommodating with gluten free orders. Telephoned through our requirements and collected at agreed time. Plenty of chips and massive piece of pure white fish, coated in gluten free batter. Piping hot and wrapped up well for taking away. Staff are all friendly and smiling. Nothing is too much trouble. Shop area is clean and tidy. Highly recommended. âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

Well I was recommended this chippy having recently moved to Heysham, but I can honestly say I had to throw my fish away...donât know how they could sell this quality of fish as it was totally disgusting. I will give it a go at some point so give them the benefit of doubt.

Picked Atkinsonâs for our last dinner in the UK - you haberdashery to have fish n chips at the seaside! Nice fish, well cooked and not greasy. Pies and scampi also nice and the chips were excellent. A very enjoyable meal.
