Only came in to try the meatless burger and it was so-so, hardly a gastromic delight, with dark lettuce and pale tomato and a little pickle sauce. $15 for the privilege, but not again less they offer a more appetizing option with chilli, avocado, Cos Lettuce or Rocket, onion, mixed seed buns, peanut sauce, - c'mon the options are endless and your current vegan burger is BORING.

This place has been around for years. Friendly service. Love the idea of a chicken cooked over charcoal and don't find this often anywhere else but we decided to have pork sandwiches. Meat was moist, made in front of your eyes, fresh toppings and came with some yummy crackling

hi-----I go to this takeaway place to get a roast once a week-------nice people and friendly service-----meal size is good----yes there is a but!----usually a long wait for the meal unless you order by phone----its simply not organisd----at rotoruas roast house which has same amt of staff and similar sized building not only serve patrons but have a full restaurant to serve also-------I see how they do it---and not a twenty minute wait!------if you are reading this perfect roast gisborne------one person cutting meat and have the trays fill all the time--esp so you don't have to wait for someone to cut the meat----it will still be fresh as it is being sold at a quick rate and 2 other people plating up----av time is 35 seconds to 1 minute per customer------and one other thing---pork crackle------don't be stingy----its not hard to get good crackle at a cheap price from the super market and please stop supplying that artificial crackle that is so hard it cracks or chips your teeth-----hey still alright place but could be just great if they could implement the above constructive coments--------cheers

a piece of chicken, pig, beef, potatoes, cabbage -take them and cooked them in pit, really slowly. As simple as this. Tasty as hell. If I have to make a value for meal evaluation, this place would get the top points. Unfortunately there is only 1 table to eat the food. it is mostly take away.
