The installation is located within Cumberland, Hoke, Harnett, and Moore counties. The installation borders the towns of Fayetteville, Spring Lake, and Southern Pines. It was also a census-designated place in the 2000 census, during which a residential population of 29,183 was identified. It is named for Confederate General Braxton Bragg. Fort Bragg maintains two airfields: Pope Field, where the United States Air Force stations global airlift and special operations assets as well as the Air Force Combat Control School, and Simmons Army Airfield, where Army aviation units support the needs of airborne and special operations forces on post.

Crown Fried Chicken has been Fayetteville's best kept secret since it opened there, and now they have a Spring Lake location. The food is absolutely amazing. The chicken is perfectly flavored and cooked fresh. Best, the prices are very reasonable. Portions are large and satisfying. One of my favorites is the Philly Cheesesteak. The shrimp box is also well cooked and served in a satisfying portion. Try this restaurant! It is likely to become one of your favorites!Side note, I have had the pleasure of meeting the owner who expresses his appreciation for every customer. Wonderful local business!

My coworkers and I have been to this place on a few occasions during lunchtime and the service is normally quick, the staff is always friendly and courteous, our order is usually correct, and the food taste pretty good. However, I came here for breakfast and went through the drive thru line; the line was backed up and it wasnât that many cars in the drive thru, it took a little while to receive my order, but my order was correct. I recommend going during lunchtime, but do not come during breakfast time.

The chicken and the sauce in the Shawarama was spicy and tasty. However, the fluffy wrap is not for me: I like a thin wrap. Hubby said the lamb gyro was ok, but he also did not care for the wrap. Prices were fair. Probably won't go back, but if I do, I will get a salad with the chicken.
