This is on the road up to the source of the river on the left. We had dinner there on our way back - delicious kebab, cold beers, fantastic view of the river and gorge looking up to the castle. Perfect. Very hospitable people and great value. Highly recommended.

Le Cri Des Crocs

This is a chique/hip little burger van with a delicious menu of burgers, croques, and salads. They cater very well for vegetarians. Price for a burger/chips/drink is 10€. Quiet little spot near a campsite. A great place for a casual lunch in the sun with friends.

Lou Burger

Friendly staff, clean and fresh surroundings but burger disappointed. Possibly just my taste but the burger was undercooked although I specified my preference. The bun was huge and doughy and completely dominated the dish. The fries were bought in not home made, which would have been much better. The proprietors of Lou's could easily change the offering to more "internationally" established burger preferences (eg. less dough). Until and unless this happens I'm afraid it's hard to recommend. Many other options in L'Isle which I prefer.
