The Glace Bay Chip Wagon has been a downtown tradition for several generations and a popular stop for both the young and old. The chips are made from fresh cut potatoes and perfectly cooked. If you're downtown they're just at the bridge. Order up a box of chips, season them the way you like and take a stroll along the wharf or up Commercial Street. If you'd rather not walk and eat just jump in your car and drive to a nearby spot and enjoy your snack with an ocean view. Either way it's an authentic Glace Bay experience!

Located just of the highway at Little Bras D'Or next to a trailer park there is lots of parking and a number of picnic tables some with umbrellas. The counter was manned by a young fellow who brought a smile to my face with his polite professionalism. Excellent cheese burger with a fresh made patty and lots of toppings. I usually shy away from crinkle cut fries as this usually implies frozen. These however were fresh cut and excellent.Last but not least the services were huge.

We arrived late into Sydney and our Hotel recommended Kennys. The recommendation was bang on. The variety and price were a great surprise.Even at the late hour that we showed up at the staff treated us with respect and warmly. We took our pizza back to our hotel as the restaurant was closed. The freshness and the taste hit home to a truly satisfying meal.Highly recommend Kennys for the wide variety and taste.

I remember when you could order a complete meal for a reasonable amount, now you have to buy everything individually. The price is so high you might as well go to a restaurant ,its cheaper. The hamburgers are no better than before although they claim they are ,trust me they are not.I stopped going there a while ago , I find it too expensive even for a treat.
On a cold, wet day, we decided to try a burger combo indoors rather than use the drive thru.We were greeted by a smiling young teen and a "what would you like?".The order was placed and we took our seats until the order was ready. We found the seat space to be snug and the air was quite cool (a glass structure on the seating area). Our order came eventually because the drive thru was busy. The burger combo was delicious and hot. We were so happy because two of our regular burger spots(and I mean over many, many years) have been very disappointing.Hopefully we will come again and feel as content about the food as we did today.
