Literally obsessed with Speedys burgers. Originally recommended by a family member as a one off hangover cure, it then became a huge player in the office âfat Fridayâ location and now I find myself just choking on a huge burger on a Tuesday. Great food, great service and reasonable prices. Youâve got a friend for life here Lee. See you next week (or tomorrow, probably)! :O Always welcome at Speedy's :)

This is a very worthwhile chain. You choose a type of baguette (from 5/6 different ones), then select various fillings from the servery. My wife and I chose ham (3 folded pieces) cheese (two triangles), lettuce, tomatoes and green peppers. The ingredients were melded together with mayonnaise. Since it was only 11.45, we requested takeaway and greatly enjoyed the baguettes at home. Several tables and chairs are provided, to eat on the premises.

Mixed kebab starter was really dry, onion bhajis were inedible, as was the round meat patty in the starter. The other bit of meat was bearable, but only when covered in sauce from the chilli chicken. Most annoying was the chicken korma they forgot in my order. Hubby only discovered it wasn't in the bag when he got home and had to drive back for it, they didn't even offer discount for their error.All the food was swimming in fat, and one of the dishes had been put in the bag sideways so leaked everywhere! Thanks for ruining my kitchen worktop, I have tried 3 products to get rid of the stains so far, to no avail. Chicken tikka was dry and heavily coloured (for no necessary reason). Korma was OK. With so many Indian restaurants and take aways in this area it's surprising one with such poor quality of food and poor service is still in business. We won't bother getting food from here again.

Have been wanting to try Mikeâs fish and chips, since seeing their reputation in the press. It was worth waiting for! Great friendly service, with a smile, fish cooked fresh, couldnât be more helpful and welcoming. The batter was delightful, crisp and light, the chips, what I would call perfect. Absolutely great! I Loved that the salt and vinegar was shaken through the bag.

Chips were so âseasonedâ that were wholly inedible. Shame. Burgers were good but when you canât eat the accompaniment - totally overpriced.
