Typical sub shop with traditional offerings. The food is fresh. The staff is very nice, but it has been a long time since I have been there and all the food has come out correctly. Things are spot on if you order straight off the menu, but they seem to struggle with any changes (hot when normally cold, leave something off, add something, etc.). They are very pleasant about fixing things though.

I previously reviewed this place based on the fact that they only served Boars Head deli meat. Food stuff from Boars Head will always get me ill. The owner sent me a email offering for me to come in again and try their food on them. When I came in they did offer me a salad with my specifications of no Boars Head in it and they did. And they did try very hard to please me. Due to the fact that I'm not a solid lover I now get this place three stars. Perhaps they could serve a non-Boars Head tuna salad egg salad that they could put in a wrap. This is a very friendly place to go to.Thank you for taking the time to write a new review. We were hoping you would remove your previous "2" star review since we did please you a little more your second visit. Thank you

I don't normally review fast-food joints unless they are extraordinary - good or bad. This was my first visit to a Chick-fil-A in at least 25 years. This location is brand new, and so it was spotless inside. They even have fresh flowers on the tables. I was a little worried when we first went in because there were some folks who had already ordered and were waiting for their food, but they got their food pretty quick. We ordered, sat down, and our meal came in 2 minutes. It was all hot and fresh. Here's what sets them apart from the rest - there were at least 2 employees roaming the dining room, bringing out the orders, picking up trays, and generally checking to be sure everything was ok. Someone checked on us 3 times while we were eating. She offered to get us refills, more ketchup, etc. It really makes a difference when they take care of you like that. Like I said, for a fast-food place they stand out!

My husband is from China, and he cooks amazing Chinese food. All authentic and not Americanized. however, i think all the Chinese abroad will miss their food during vacation and when he cannot cook, he will want some Chinese food. Not much choice in Deland so we picked this place, I think my Sesame Chicken was good, not super but good. But he thinks it's average and he hates the heavy sauce they usually put in all dishes.

I have been going here for years getting the sour cream and chive baked potato. It's under $2. I also enjoy the strawberry and raspberry unlimited refill sodas.
