Well, the crowds have really died down now so I ventured in. This eatery is fairly new to Crestview and as usual most of the town decided to check it out in the first 3 months. I opted to wait. Note: This restaurant is located at a very busy intersection in Crestview and if you are there during traffic peak you may experience frustrations when trying to drive out. So, I visited on a Friday evening, the eve of the Labor Day weekend. I figured it would be packed, but to my astonishment it was only myself, my daughter, and one customer that came in behind me. Even though I planned to go "take out", I couldn't help be gleefully gaze upon the seating that would have been available to me. I was hesitant to even order when the thought hit me that there should be more customers in this place. After all, mere months ago the line was just about out-the-door. The food looked good and reminded me of the Moe's franchise. You pick your food type, then point out the various things you want to stuff in your bowl or in your burrito. I decided to do some sampling since it was take out for the family. We had nachos with taco meat, and a bowl, and a burrito. We sampled each others food a bit once we were home and,... they all tasted about the same. The taste was average. Good, but not good enough to merit another visit. Maybe that's what happened to all the other folks how have come and gone. On the positive side, portions were great and none of us were hungry afterward.

More than enough employees. No one doing job right. Employees yelling. Complaining and stressed out. Sat for almost 30 mins. Were brought wrong food. This is not first time this has happened. Used to eat at capt d's in fwb. Never had a problem. Always a problem with waiting and unorganized people at Crestview location. Will not go back or recommend

Arriving for an early lunch, we were promptly waited on and within minutes we were eating some awesome Mexican food. The chips were fresh and crisp, the salads were tasty and the tacos full of meat, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. An easy in and out, they are located on SR 85 next to the high school.

It's a tiny place and somewhat seemingly plain looking, but it's a place that provides a certain take on restaurant food that I personally don't find options for in many places; chili style hotdogs and hamburgers. They also have nachos and a number of other options available, but not a huge menu. While this place may have somewhat out of the ordinary findable foods out there for restaurants, this isn't necessarily my favorite type of food. I did feel like having some at the Strawberry Festival though while roaming and just checking out what was going on. The food is definitely messy, as other people have mentioned. Visually, some people might be turned off by it, but the taste of it is good and authentic. I've only always ordered burgers or hotdogs myself though. They do also ask if you want your items done up all the way on sandwiches. I like being simple, so I just have my food as it's meant to be made. I don't think they are going to let you go too far though with 'edits' because they do have a humorous sign there that says 'This isn't B.K.' as part of it. The building itself has a classic look and gives a nice feel that seems like it's from the past both inside and out. It's a nice change from the typical environments seen in other types of restaurants. If that's your only reason to go in or take the view in further to bring back memories, then that's good that it's still in business to let people be able to do so. Aside from that, I've had no issues with staff there either. They've always been nice to me every time and they certainly handled business quite well during the Festival.

It's a hotdog shop and they should be good at making and serving hotdogs. The buns were soggy. I tried it because my wife was out of town and I wanted a quick and easy lunch. It was pricey compared to other fast food places in Crestview. not at the top of my list to try again.
