We heard about this restaurant and because of their service to our first responders we decided to try il. We were greeted warmly as we crossed the threshold and we explained it was our first visit and we needed a minute. We looked at the menu and all our guest ions were answered in a way that we felt we were family. We realize it is fast food, but you are treated like family.

Visited Popeyes. Ordered Butterfly shrimp, but got tiny overly breaded popcorn shrimp. Over priced if they really call those butterfly. Chicken order was just ok, but nothing special. I think this chain is over rated. I actually prefer Jewel chicken or KFC better. Lastly, The service we had was terribly slow and not attentive.

So funny that with my self-professed foodie background that I even care enough about this average sandwich chain (ok, the bread does smell good) to write a review. However, today just floored me when I was told hot peppers are free but I can't have them on a slim-wich. Slim-wiches are apparently meat, cheese and bread only. But I didn't want the cheese and was willing to pay for just the add of the hot peppers to my plain slim. So, I was told I can't do that and here's the kicker: to remedy my dilemma, I'd have to order (and pay for) the deluxe sandwich, subtract everything but the meat then add just the "free" hot peppers. Oh, I laughed and simply walked out over the principal only. Also, I've been told by this location that we can't order the peppers "on the side" either. Pepper policy prevails!!
