While vacationing in the Christiansburg, VA area, the subject of lunch arose and my wife posed the question of where would be a good place to eat. I, being the portly and ever-hungry fellow that I am, suggested a buffet. As we were driving past, my wife spotted a KFC. Maybe I'm off-base here and am alone in thinking so but in the past few years KFC has really gone down in quality, service, and cleanliness so I was skeptical but, happy wife = happy life so I agreed to at least check it out. Well, it hurts me to say this but...my wife was right and made a good call. The staff were friendly, we were welcomed upon arrival, and the place was exceptionally clean. The price of $6.95 + drinks allowed us to eat our fill of some of the best fried chicken and sides I've had in a while. Colonel Sanders would be proud to have his name on this KFC. The buffet was hot, well-stocked, and sported a variety of food that would satisfy even the pickiest of eaters (like me). The staff were constantly keeping the food fresh, the buffet clean, and asking if there was anything else we needed. We left full, satisfied, and looking forward to returning for lunch the next day which we did everyday until we came home. Each day was a repeat of the day before. Great service, great food, and for $6.95 + drinks one would be hard pressed to get a combo at a gut-burger joint for the same price. This KFC is what a KFC is supposed to be like.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. First visit to this restaurant. Figuring out the menu was a little confusing at first, but the employees were all very friendly. The food was good, but you could tell it had been sitting for awhile. I would return cause it was still good.
