Browns is our local chippy and it is simply magnificent. The menu is varied and everything tastes delicious. Recently I tried the chicken nuggets for the first time, they were very like Chinese style chicken balls, crunchy yet full of juicy chicken. The chips are always amazing as are the peas, curry sauce, sausages, fish.. In fact everything is soooo tasty.

We are The Fry Inn located in Tuckton. All our food is cooked to order, freshly served. We have a wide range of items from fish , burgers, pies, kebabs etc. We aim to provide excellent food with equally excellent service.
Excellent chippy with some great vegetarian options. My veggie family love the Halloumi deep fried with chips and I always go for the Haddock. Busy most nights, but you can place phone orders which I would recommend. Very clean serving area and courteous staff, with about 6 benches inside, about 24 covers if you want to eat in.

Our Highcliffe branch is both restaurant and takeaway located in Highcliffe, near Christchurch, Dorset. Popular with locals and visitors alike, it delivers the authentic Daniels fish and chips experience.
We've had some very good fish and chips at Daniel's. However, today we didn't even get a chance to eat. The restaurant was only partly full and there were a small number of customers waiting in the takeaway area. Just one waitress was trying to serve both takeaway and restaurant customers. She gave us menus and continued to take orders from the takeaway section. It was obvious that most customers had been waiting some time but hardly any food was coming out. After waiting for quite some time without our order being taken we decided to leave. Our assessment was that both the cooking and service were out of control and there would be a long wait. Fish and plates of food were being left lying around on the counter after cooking owing to ill-timed and incorrect orders. The one waitress was forced to run around like a headless chicken and she did not apologise when we decided to leave.

Found metal in the chicken , took back and got refund but just canât believe that this was allowed to happen . Feeling very very let down !We are extremely sorry to hear of the problem with the food you ordered. On the night concerned, we did offer you a full refund when you came back with the food. When the food came back, we did have a thorough investigation on why this foreign object was there, and it was found that that this piece of metal had broken away from the frying basket. This has never happened before. We have replaced all frying baskets to prevent this happening again. We again apologise profusely for this happening in the first place, and to ensure you off our strict safety and preparation standards are adhered to at all times. We are proud of our food standard ratings, and we strive to always maintain this.

Vegan cafe serving plant based food. Hot and cold meals, snacks, cakes, drinks and smoothies; to eat in or takeaway. All made freshly in the cafe by the owner. Children welcome. Groups and meet-ups welcome. Dogs welcome. Orders taken.
Firstly I would like to say I loved the idea of having another vegan cafe locally but the food in my opinion is very basic home cooking which I can cook better myself at home. When I go out I want something better or different to inspire me and warrant spending the money eating out. I am happy going out of my way and travelling to try new vegan places or eat at my favourite places but this on my doorstep is not one Iâd return to. My BF and I had the vegan breakfast which was just OK, the coffee was dreadful but then I am a self proclaimed Coffee snob. The breakfast was LC sausages, beans, mushrooms, avocado, homemade hummus & violifes halloumi. The only homemade bit, the hummus, was just very bland & wet. The table next door that came in ordered the vegan scotch egg & wedges. Facing the kitchen I saw the frozen supermarket wedges being taken out and put in the fryer. All in all the experience was one that certainly wouldnât get me rushing back, there are much better options for vegans eating out in the area. I want to support local vegan businesses I really do, but Iâd be lying if I said I would recommend eating here and I have to be honest. Iâm a keen instagrammer and normally âgram my food and big up vegan eateries, I think it speaks volumes that in this case I didnât. Its taken me a while to work out whether to write a review or not but seeing all the 5 star reviews, I canât help but feel itâs from people reviewing it and raving as itâs vegan rather then on the food. I hope the owner takes this feedback constructively.Thank you for your comments Kate and sorry to hear you are unhappy. Firstly, I am not a chef and the food is basic cafe grub, The breakfast fry-up is just an alternative to a general cafe meat one and there is nothing on the menu which you could not easily make at home.I m aware there are much more innovative eateries around, but that is not what Good Intentions is all about. I am happy with my menu for the moment, but learning all the time and I appreciate your honesty.NB
