The lady who seemed to run the place was friendly, very welcoming and we ate tasty pizzas from a decent selection of alternatives, including burgers, salads and similar foods. The food was cooked fresh, not too long to wait, and there was a welcoming buzz about the place - around 10-12 euros per pizza. The dishes coming out for other diners looked appetising and full, with mostly empty plates going back and smiles all round. A decent place for a comfortable, easy meal.

This place seemed to be thriving with customers attracted by the great aromas, simple, good-looking food and relatively inexpensive prices. Special mention for the prompt, attentive and enthusiastic service. Although we only had light snacks and drinks we were very tempted to return for lunch one day (but never quite made it). We sat outside on the terrace enjoying the sunshine but we noticed that they also have indoor seating. Exterior looks very much like a fast-food joint..... but looks can be very deceptive.

Chez Bif is brilliant. Nestled away in the centre of Mottaret is a uniquely Savoyard style fast food eatery that hits the spot every time.Chez Bif burgers come sandwiched in pieces of mountain baguette rather than buns, the standard cheese is raclette, the beef is phenomenally tasty and the salad is crisp and fresh. These burgers are so good that you donât really need a side, though they offer them, and the usual response after demolishing one of these beauties is to want a nap. If youâve been up the first lift and skied through lunch until youâre actually hungry there is no better place in Meribel to go. Or if youâre having a day off and you just want something really tasty...

What a great little place. It's tiny so make sure you book in busy periods. Very welcoming owner who was more than happy to swap mushrooms to chillies on my daughter's pizza without trying to charge extra as some places do. The pizzas were both reasonable and fantastic quality - large, thin crispy bases and lots of topping. Beer was about 1 euro cheaper per 1/2 litre compared to the rest of the restaurants in La Plagne. At the end of the meal the owner even gave me a free Genepi to help with the cough I had developed during the week - top man!!! Highly recommended!
