I have been going to Ronnies Pizza for more than 30 years and they used to be one of the best Pizza joints in Blacktown. Their Pizzas are no longer the best. They are oily and the sizes have shrunk over the years. I would recommend Rene's or even King of Kebabs over Ronnies any day

value for your money. the burgers here are far better here than Hungry jacks. place is clean for dinners. love the taste
Chicken King in Woodcroft is local fine dining if you get the coleslaw & a Diet Coke combo special. The general consensus seems to be if u drink the gravy straight outta the plastic container then it would suggest youâre a lowy, itâs an act of unsophisticated behaviour & the missus should think less of youâ¦unless you share of course. Its deep fried southern style chicken with nothing healthy about it. They have a famous lemon flavoured chicken salt that tastes divine, like getting approval for your first questionable disability pension, itâs chicken salt with vinegar essence, magical stuff. Their Monday-Tuesday night special has been going 15 years strong, for $5 bucks you get 2 pieces of chicken & chips plus you could proly squeeze out a pack of smokes & a case of VB on special from a $50 note! One sticking point however, the lady owner. She is notorious in the area for being cranky, unpleasant & rude, the stories about her blur the line between fantasy & fiction. Be careful not to call her Satan to her face, a demon or accuse her of being a Nazi Party member from 1945 because she will know, itâs just not worth the risk in this day & age. Be a real man & take the hits & her dirty looks straight on the chin, the ANZAC diggers did it for each other, consider doing it for your family because very few do southern fried chicken like they do. The furniture hasnât changed since the 90âs, the shop looks tired & the employees are less enthusiastic than Blacktown council workers but somehow it all works. It will come as no surprise to discover that disgruntled family, former employees or maybe thieves have started a new chicken takeaway in Emerton using the same recipes & equipment called OZ Fried Chicken. As hard as it is to believe, OZ Fried Chicken is cheaper, the chips are better, the chicken pieces have less fat & the sprinkle of special chicken salt is more generous. Overall, Oz Fried Chicken is better but most especially because you wonât be treated like some dirty peasant so my feelings for Chicken King lie somewhere between love & hate.

This is part of a chain which I've seen scattered about town. Was tempted by the qesadillas and nachos but wanted something more substantial so chose a hearty beef burrito. Tasted very good and service was pretty fast too. Tables inside & out (summertime so a few flies about if sotting outside). If you had any room left there's a Max Brenner beside it. Or work it off ten-pin bowling very close by too.

I stopped on a Friday evening, upon a recommendation of the brand from some of my friends in New Zealand. I got the American Muscle Single and the Sweet Potato Fries. The burger was well cooked and well seasoned. However, being an American, I did not find it to be a significant step up from what I can get in many spots in the US. I don't know if it was worth going out of my way for it. The sweet potato fries were really good, and I'm not normally a "french fries" person, but I was happy to finish these. Overall, it was a good meal. I would stop in one again if it were along my path.

I regularly come here for their burgers. The roadhouse burger would have to be my favourite. This time I thought I would try something different. I ordered the family pack of fish and chips, which includes 5x battered fish fillets and a medium size chips. More than enough for a family of 4! The chips was nice and the batter on the fish is light and crispy. You can tell from your first bite that it wasn't pre battered like some other places. Having paid just $27.50 for the meal it was simply a bargain feed for the family.
