Sadly only visit a few times a year, whilst in the area, but this chip shop never fails to please. Tasty chips, huge succulent flaky jumbo haddock (@£4), steamed steak puddings, plus all the usual chip shop fayre. Friendly, helpful staff and it takes credit / debit cards. Street parking.

Call at Kelbrook fisheries for a chippy tea on Saturday evening with being in the area... To be served the only thing I can describe as were burnt offerings + swimming in a dark brown grease so the whole meal went straight in the dustbin. Avoid at all costs !!! I am absolutely horrified that you were served this and I can only apologise...this is not up to our standards at all.I am happy to offer you a free meal for two if you would care to call in again.

Been here on numerous occasions and always really satisfied with the delicious quaity food, a particular favourite is the salt and pepper king prawns or the thai sweet chilli beef!

Food of poor inedible quality, staff rude. Go home and have beans on toast. We only called there as the Mediterranean was closed, never again it was all inedible, even the chips!!!!

We were staying at the Ribblesdale lodges and came across this take away menu so decided to order in. One of the dishes that we ordered was the satay chicken skewers...usually a favourite for myself and partner. However, on biting in to the skewer I found that the chicken was still practically raw in the middle!! My partner had unfortunately swallowed his and was awoken at 4am to extreme stomach cramps and vomiting which we can only presume was down to the RAW CHICKEN as this is the only food he had eaten since toast that morning. AVOID this take away at all costs!!

Based on the price list, you might call in here with low expectations- how wrong you will be. The food here is excellent, freshly prepared by some of the friendliest severs you will come across. Portions are generous. A real antidote to the faceless and overpriced chains and worth a diversion if you are cycling in the area and need to refuel.

Saw people sat in and around eating chips etc so my wife bought fish and chips and sat outside on the little tables provided lovely food,portion size was good very filling just what was needed after just having a couple of beers and saved not eating out so to speak.
