I reached Baar in the evening after a long flight to Zurich and a train journey to Baar. I was quite tired and was searching for a nice place to eat near the hotel. Somebody mentioned this restaurant and hence, I went to this restaurant. The restaurant was quite near and a 5-10 minutes walk from the Hotel as well as the station. The food here was quite good and with excellent service. Came here again before leaving Baar.

Wegen eines Konzertes der Kastelruther Spatzen sind wir zufällig hier gelandet, obschon wir in der Umgebung wohnen. Und wir wurden positiv überrascht. Trotz des grossen Andrangs an diesem Abend behielten der Chef und sein Personal die Uebersicht. Und was aus der Küche kam, wusste auch bestens zu überzeugen. Wir hatten einen sehr feinen Bärlauch-Hackbraten und Rahmschnitzel garniert. Und dazu eine feine 7dl. Flasche Rotwein aus Spanien für moderate Fr. 35.-. Wir kommen gerne bei nächster Gelegenheit wieder!

I visited here with a friend for lunch. Really impressive menu with lots of choices and an English menu was available too. I ordered a chicken almond curry and a soft drink.The food was delicious and arrived quickly. However, the price, even for Switzerland, was very e pensive. I really do not K ow how they can justify such expensive prices.Therefore based on this I shall not return.
