The ancient seaport of Ashkelon dates back to the Neolithic Age. In the course of its history, it has been ruled by the Ancient Egyptians, the Canaanites, the Philistines, the Assyrians, the Babylonians, the Greeks, the Phoenicians, the Hasmoneans, the Romans, the Persians, the Arabs and the Crusaders, until it was destroyed by the Mamluks in 1270.

We wanted a pizza and didn't want to go on the regular known versions. We found this magnet on the fridge and decided to give them a try. The pizza arrived quickly, was very tasty and felt more homelike than the regular pizza one can get. We will buy there again for sure.Thank you very much, we would like to see you again

situated on the main shopping street in ashkelon this shwarma bar is outstanding. ive eaten here everytime i visit ashkelon. they serve all differant kebab style foods but for me its alwys a shwarma in pitta bread ( also available in laffa bread, or bagguete ) with houmas & techina & salad. theres a free salad bar where you can top up as you like. this bar is kosher and a great place for a quick bite to eat as you people watch.
